I have been with many service providers and I move a lot. Normally the service with most is okay. But this is the ONLY ISP that I HAVE to call out, as the WORST ISP I have ever dealt with by FAR. Number 1: They Promised me that I will have internet even during loadshedding, if I have solar or a UPS. This was a LIE. After I mentioned that this was not the case, and I still do not have internet, they basically blamed my complex because now my complex needs to get UPSs for their connections as well. Number 2: From what I see and gather, this is not really a pure 100% end to end FIbre connection. It is kind of like Fibre to the node, that sort of thing. So when they say they selling Fibre, take that with a pinch of salt. It is kind of like signal to a microwave tower in the complex and from that tower they run fibre to the house, not saying this is exactly what they do, but just giving an analogy, basically the set up they gave me it is not what most people think Fibre is. In my opinion it should not be called fibre at all.
I am purchasing a home from one of ABSA's clients. Due to their incompetence, I have been waiting for about 5 months now. According to all the attorneys involved, it is because ABSA dragging their feet for FIVE MONTHS!!!!!
They called and emailed me about some Standard Bank credit card, I don't even have and never even had a Standard Bank credit Card. I emailed them back, but they still called me.
A few fraudulent accounts were opened in my name in about July 2020 at Standard Bank. I then contacted Standard Bank countless amount of times, provided all sorts of documentation, they advised they'll close the accounts etc. But even now (2022) they got attorneys to call me to collect money for a credit card. I tried calling them and emailing their complaints department before I log one on Hello Peter, but I was on the line for over 30 minutes, and they don't answer their emails.
Someone opened an account in my name back in August. It is now December, so it has been 4 months since I logged and reported it to their fraud department via email. There STILL has been NO feedback, when you call the fraud line, nobody answers, just nothing. You email for feedback, no reply.
I upgraded online, and got the insurance. Not long after, my camera broke. I sent my phone in for repairs more than 2 weeks ago now. They then call me asking for documents to show that I upgraded, which in itself is ridiculous when Vodacom is taking my money and send me monthly invoices. They do not want to proceed without this paperwork. This is the irritating part, I get the call repair centre call me from 0107860012 and told me to call 0821944 (very rude, argued and put the phone down on me), I call 0821944, they said I must call the store where I handed my phone in, I call Vodacom Greenstone 4U on 0114521779, they said I must call 0821945 (after 30 minutes on hold), this number then says I must call 0821950, then I call them, was on hold for 30 minutes again. Nobody can help me at all. I pay the insurance fees, I pay the contract etc, but now I have to prove I am a Vodacom client, then I get a run around call many different numbers only to get a run around, no department want to help me at all. I have called 5/6 different departments, this is beyond ridiculous.
