Had a very bad service from their Vodacom Shop at Middelburg Mall. I requested to cancel a contract a day after I signed for the contract and went as far as taking the cell phone back to their Shop. I have since not received any response from them. I have logged a com[plaint with the National Consumer Board reporting this issue and will continue to cancel the debit order and only pay for the 2 contracts that are currently running and I am happy with them. The level of service is very poor and degrading as well. The employees personalize the issues and believe we should take contracts even when we are not happy with the offer and service rendered. Unfortunately, Vodacom will be affected by these issues since they are contracted to them and using their brand.
Please assist with the complaint on the following Vodacom shop at Middelburg Mall Mpumalanga. Account Number: I4413479-4 On Friday 25th November 2022, I upgraded a contract on cell number 082 335 2975. Arriving at home I realized that they had given me a contract term that I do not agree with. On Saturday 26th November 2022, I went to the Vodacom shop in Middelburg mall where I took the contract and informed the sales consultant (Lihle) that I am not happy with the contract and the monthly term that has given to me. He said he will talk to his manager and they will call me on Monday 28th Nov 2022. On Monday there was no call I then called the Vodacom shop to ask to speak to the manager. The manager told me I cannot cancel the contract as I have signed the contract already and cannot be reversed. I then continued to call Vodacom customer care to request assistance. They then told me to return the cell phone and call once Vodacom CUSTOMER CARE once I am at the shop. Today on 30th November 2022 I went to the shop and the manager at Middelburg Mall Vodacom Shop informed me that he will not cancel the contract for the reason stated in the agreement. I read the 1st agreement said a cell phone can be returned to the shop within 7 working days which I am still within, the consultant from Vodacom customer care could not assist anymore since this was not an online agreement. I then left the Phone Samsung A23 on the table at the Middelburg mall Vodacom shop with the manager. Today is the 30th of November 2022, already Vodacom has send me 20Gb and changed the terms of the contract would like to cancel this upgrade and go back to my Old contract terms. I am not happy with the service from Vodacom Middelburg Mall.
I have recently requested advance from Standard Bank home loan. Their service was very good and even guided me when I needed to certify my documents. The service at Middelburg Standard Bank was very good and the consultant went an extra mile. Really happy with their Staff and service.
1st December 2019 I bought Data for less 25% of R249.00 (R113 Discounted - transaction done on *111#) 2Gb data this was meant to be a once off purchase. Now I have been charged R498 by Vodacom. Which is not the amount I have agreed to buy data for. Since I have a contract with Vodacom they are informing me that I have signed agreement to receive data every month and that I was supposed to have read their terms and conditions when I did the transaction with them, so monthly I will receive 2Gb data monthly and charged in my account. I am on a top up contract used my R200 airtime to buy the data of R113 which Vodacom claim they did not deduct from R200 airtime that was on my cell phone. Every month as a vodacom customer I buy data with my airtime. When I query this issue they are telling me about the terms and conditions and refuse to reverse the transaction. Now I am left with 1Gb and request they reverse this transaction on my account since they are also over charging me and no longer charging the R113, when I calculate the amount for data bought and the account statement they have actually inflated the price back to the original price which is R249X2. I am not happy at all with the Vodacom service and planning to cancel all my contract once my 2 year term ends which is this year November 2020 for two of my contracts. I have been loyal to them for so many years and this is the time I move to another service provider. This is so disappointing to see such a big company robbing their customers daily. Even the data doesn't last it just disappears when not using it.
I have recently requested a special request to cancel a ticket for an upcoming event via Howler, I bought the ticket for R828 MTN Bushfire Festival. On the selection process I selected special request, immediately I was refunded 25% of the amount I paid. Immediately after realising that I phoned the Hawler support to request that they should give me back my ticket I was told that they have already transferred money into my account but I never gave my banking details nor did I get the option to accept that the refund will be 25%. I believe that their system is deceived me. I was supposed to be give a chance to accept their conditions instead they send me an email to inform me that I have been refunded 25% of my money. I did call their call center requesting to talk to their manager always told they are in a meeting. I feel this is not fair. They are telling me about the terms and conditions on their contract. When I request them to reverse the refund and give me back my ticket. I am told they cannot reverse since it is the money has been transferred into my account. On their terms it states 7 to 14 working days.
I would like to lay an urgent complain for bad service and charges assault against me at Vodacom Store, Middelburg Mall. Time of incident: 16h00 Date : 08 March 2018 I went to a vodacom shop on Thursday 08 March 2018, to buy Sim card. I was assisted by one of the interns in the shop. It seemed there was no one that was willing to assist him because he kept on going in and out of the staff room. When I asked one of the shop assistant ladies she told me that I must be patient the guy will assist me. Then eventually he came out of the room and went to another lady on the far end of the shop, she refused to assist me stating that my number is behind the other customer that came in after me. At that time I got frustrated that no one was willing to assist me. I then turned and went to a lady in the middle on table 9, asked her where is another vodacom shop then she told me this is the only shop in Middelburg and then she went as far as shouting and informing me that I did not explain my request well that I deserved the service I am getting. I told her she cannot talk to me like that and also demanded he manager, she pointed at the intern guy to say he is her manager. I then asked for her name she was hiding her name tag when I moved closer she assalted by slapping me with her hand. I am really dissatisfied with their level of service and want action to be takien again the lady who assaulted me and also the lady that refused to assist me even though she was aware that I was in the shop 15 minutes earlier. The intern then started chasing me out of the shop because I was taking pictures of him and the lady that slapped me. The service delivery at Middelburg Vodashop it is very bad, a lot of people are complaining and this was not the first time I receive bad service. I have not received any feedback regarding my complaint from Vodacom even after I went back to the shop to remind the manager. Regards Neli
I received R200 airtime from Vodacom every month, this month my airtime got finished on the 2nd June 2018. When I phoned Vodacom customer care I was told is due to data depleted and it was charging me without being connected to the internet just because I left my mobile data on over night and did not switch them off. How could I lose about R120 over night without going into the interned or whatsup.
