As per my previous review; (MVI & MPD are the same company, underwritten by Mutual and Federal.) Finally got through and as expected, they use their policy to send you in circles without helping you in any way. Very friendly with no service delivery. So they sell you a policy stating that they will cover damage to shocks and suspension parts if you hit a pothole, dip or other damage not related to ware and tare. This company is genuinely committing fraud and does not comply with the CPA or regulatory requirements on their products. This would be an easy audit and fine for regulators to ensure that this company either starts complying with regulation and compliance or to close their doors for committing fraud through misrepresentation and utilizing policy and contracts to harm the customer. If you ever thought something seemed off about this company when trying to obtain their products and services, you should definitely trust your gut on this.
I have been trying to process a claim for 5 weeks with no luck. Every person I have spoken to promises to assist, get a line manager to help or states that this will be processed same day. However this is not the case at all. My opinion is that they will avoid you completely when you try to process a claim but are more than happy to take your debit orders. This is genuinely starting to feel like a scam of a company that provides no real services. Also fake reviews it seems so by average they should have a 2 star rating.
This company comes across as extremely friendly and Professional. Introduced by evotel, but unfortunately one of the worst ISPs I've ever had. They break service level agreements, they promise a working high speed line with nothing to show for it. They literally overstep their rights as an ISP and have not followed the laws around debit orders and what's allowed and they do not follow any of the Consumer protection act sections. These guys will debit your account, but provide you with a horribly functioning line. Definitely would not recommend them and Evotel simply wash their hands in this case and leave you with a horrible situation of no service. Genuinely believe a serious audit should be done on Net99 and Evotel. They definitely have recklessly broken regulatory requirements and continue to take deductions. Serious consideration should be taken into investigating the companies for fraud and to take action accordingly.
Please note that this company is one you should definitely check out before taking their products and services. In my opinion it is a very well-orchestrated scam, but not a Ponzi scam exactly. This company does not have CETA or SAQA accreditation and yet they are very unclear about what they are officially selling you. My mistake was believing the salesperson Shaun Roodt, who promised that this program or platform would easily make me back R 10 000.00 a week without too much effort and definitely R 10 000.00 per month if I just gave a few hours per week to working on their platform. From my end what confirmed the truth to me about this company, was when I wanted to cancel realizing that nothing is as I was sold on this platform. The amount of work effort and finances you would have to spend to get any form of money back does not match up with what they sold. The big thing here is that you should look at their monthly charges for their services and mentoring as well as what they charge for the pack before you decide to sign up. Most definitely in my case I would be losing much more money than making anything back. Look at the 1-star reviews and see how consistent the complaints are compared to the complaints on the Complaints board. When you try to cancel that's when they come at you with ridiculous clause like a 5-day cooling period which is insane considering that you need at least 60 days to experience the software and outcome of your purchase. They pretty much sent me an email where they told me I have to settle the full outstanding credit which they claim is to become a part of their company, receive mentoring, training and use their package which is a USB with a mouse and Mouse Pad which I have to pay back over R 37k on? My opinion remains that this is a well orchestrated scam which uses legal contracting and frameworks to not be caught as an official scam or to be caught committing fraud. Many have complained about being locked into a contract and terms with them which if you complain publicly, they will send their legal department after you. I really had my suspicions about the salesperson, the company, but took a risk which I hoped would rather turn out for the better than the worse. If you have that gut feeling that a service or company is potentially a scam, corrupt or could harm you, trust that feeling, do your homework and then make a decision based on the facts not falsified or inflated facts.
Webuycars sell cars under fraudulent conditions. I Purchased a Lexus IS 250 SE second hand, which turned out to be a lexus EX rebuild instead confirmed by Lexus. The Odometer read 123 000 but Lexus confirmed that the vehicle's motor had more than 235 000 Kms on the clock. Caution on taking out their service plan, as I was Guaranteed a major service on my vehicle with Lexus Fourways by the service center at Webuycars by an agent of the name of Yul, only to be rejected for my Major service with Lexus. I confirmed 2 months ahead of time 3 times if I could take my vehicle to lexus for a major service only to be rejected by Webuycars once I had submitted the vehicle to Lexus. Also ensure to take your vehicle to another road worthy company as Dekra and Webuycars work together when initially not disclosing the road worthy status of the vehicle. You'll pay more than it's worth when purchasing a vehicle from them under very fraudulent conditions. In my opinion it's better to open a criminal case and report them to the regulator than trying to negotiate with them. Webuycars are not very forthcoming, helpful or above board and should be audited and investigated.
Webuycars is one of the most dishonest companies I have come across to date. Let's begin with 2 counts of fraud where they sell a car as a Lexus IS 250 SE 2010, but instead the car is a Lexus IS 250 EX, then the Kilometer reading said about 120 000 kilometers but Lexus confirmed that it was more closer to 230 000 kilometers. Another form of fraud; selling Rebuild vehicles as used vehicles only for one to discover that the vehicle is not even registered as a Lexus IS 250 but is instead a Rebuild Lexus. Do not take their service plan from the innovation group as they do not deliver on what they offer. I asked 2 months ahead of time for a major service to be done first as the car needed attention, this never happened as the innovation group rejected the major service. I first complained about Yul Carlinsky lying to me about being able to do a major service for my first service and then literally asking for the evidence that I confirmed the major service, to date Yul has barely communicated, assisted and has not kept his promise of resolving these issues the same day. I have spoken to Kiran Gangaram who is a sales manager at WBC and we met at the Germiston branch where he to promised to resolve this issue in the same week we met, only to be left waiting for 2 months now. I have included Faan Van der Walt in our emails as he is the CEO and still no resolution. The company is clearly committing crimes in my opinion and getting away with it. Dekra seems to be supporting We Buy Cars and already know most of their vehicles are not road worthy but say nothing until you pay for an inspection, which they already know is going to fail. So We Buy Cars is taking people for test drives on the main roads in vehicles which are not road worthy, basically breaking the law and getting away with it, then leaving the customer with the problems. Dekra even confessed that they knew about my car as the report on their side said not road worthy, while We Buy Cars flat out lied about the status of the vehicle and seemed very dishonest about the details. I replaced the Windscreen with an original Lexus Windscreen, the Headlights with Original almost new Lexus Head lights, the Kick Plates, the steering wheel which was torn, the center compartment / unit and Gear knob, installed a new missing hooter, Front right broken parking sensor replaced, Fixed the Fuse Box, Replaced the Torn Control arm bushes which tore again, replaced the tires with a spare working set, did an inspection and service with lexus... Only to find out that the car was in fact not what We Buy cars said it was. The list of what I have done to get this car into a much better state than what it was is quite large, however it is disheartening to know you did all of this on a Car which was sold under completely fraudulent conditions. My humble opinion is that everyone that has experienced similar, should get together to take action legally and to help inform the regulator of what laws are being broken to firstly issue fines to We Buy Cars for their blatant disregard of the law and to inform Outsurance, Nedbank, Wesbank, ABSA, Standard Bank or any other financial institution that We Buy Cars is a High Risk company who breaks laws and disregards regulatory requirements. This company should be deemed a Risk to do business with as if this is what they do to their retail customers, what they do to businesses would be equally as bad. I truly thought that We Buy Cars would be a great option to purchase from, due to their claims in the media for being reliable and selling Quality used vehicles, but instead I have now had to engage with my attorneys to take matters into our own hands. We I returned about my issue I walked on the floor and saw a white Mercedes E class with Ants swarming over it and nesting somewhere in its boot or wheel... I had to inform the staff of this before they actually did something about it. In a meeting with Kiran, he agreed that the conditions under which the vehicle was sold was fraudulent and that they did not wish to have an incident which took this case to the public and the media and promised me to resolve this issue quickly. Since then they have only been silent and without genuine response or resolution. It feels like We Buy Cars have set themselves up with Dekra and Outsurance to ensure that they can get away with their actions. My opinion on this is: 1. WBC knows they sell a fraudulent vehicle which is not road worthy, but lies to the customer saying it is 2. Dekra already knows about the un-roadworthy vehicle and knows that they will make money twice, once by failing the inspection, then sending you to their chosen mechanic, this while Dekra knows everything about the vehicle. Afterwards you have to pay for another inspection to be deemed roadworthy which is a win win for Dekra and their relationship with WBC. 3. This is only a suspicion, but WB has a relationship with Outsurance whereby the insurer knows that the car is not Road Worthy or in the state it should be and will ensure you regardless, however you pay monthly premiums only to be rejected once an accident or write off occurs, where Outsurance can acquire the vehicle information from WBC and state that the vehicle was not as it should be and pretty much then rejects your claim. Now the above could be working in WBCs favor as this is what it would like like to an auditor or investigator, which I truly hope is not the case as it would be extremely harmful to the customer and the businesses involved with WBCs.
Good day I have to say without a doubt that I have never been treated so poorly by a vehicle rental agency in my life! I have emails, Phone Calls and SMS even with Patricia the Branch manager of AVIS Isando confirming that the Abuse, Harassments and extremely poor Quality service is completely unacceptable. I never received an Invoice for my Rental vehicle, but I definitely received threats and harassments from Tommy Bekker of their Forensics department and now a demand to pay a bill of over R9800.00???!!! I need answers as to why this is allowed and why any customer must endure this? There are Panel beaters and service people that are used by SANTAM and they all had the same opinion about AVIS Isando. This company should honestly get major replacement of staff starting with management and if they are not capable of reforming into a quality customer oriented company they should please close their doors and disappear as they are by far no where near Quality standards as a company.
Nedank has really been a great experience in many of their business departments and has really look after myself and my company. However I have mentioned for 2 years now that the Money App online would cause massive havoc to their bank as it was pushed onto customers with no choice whatsoever. In customer's experience including my own, there was nothing wrong with the previous app and we all love how it worked even if it wasn't as "pretty" as some of the pretty useless apps released by other banks. I believe the biggest mistake was taking the lazy approach and not caring about the customer at all from HQ perspective which has ruined many relationships at present just due to making the money app extremely difficult to register as a user especially when you have a business with multiple business accounts. The poor branch staff have no idea on how to get around this issue and it seems Nedbank since 2018 had no intention to do a customer and data migration project which would have seamlessly helped many customers to simply switch over like we've experience in the past with other banking apps. I knew Nedbank to be one of the better business banks, but the recent app proves that Nedbank has no intention of considering the reputational risk or customer experience at all and has had a project team dedicated only to delivering a flashy app that does not serve the customer's need but instead serving to make someone else look good at HQ. Let's be honest this app could not have launched without sign off or approval and it was done with complete disregard for the customer's wellbeing or experience while only taking into account a couple of yes men who loved the app and gave it early positive reviews. I personally have been stuck for 5 days now without being able to access my business accounts to make payments and I place the blame squarely on the shoulders of those at HQ who do not for one second really care about the retail or business customer experience... plainly shame on you and the team who couldn't make the effort or allocate the budget to do a decent Customer and Data migration. You are destroying the hard work of the many other departments who have actually done so much for the customer hands on. Whoever commissioned this app without verifying the risks is also to blame and this further highlights that the people and the teams involved are completely cut off from consequences, customers and customer experience. These teams care nothing for the bank or its customers and should be held accountable for actually ruining the banks customer experience and for the loss of a major amount of customers. These are extremely difficult times with many people and businesses suffering and you guys have the Gaul to make life even worse for these poor people and businesses... I'll say it again "Shame on you!". This is not how customers should be treated, this is not the Nedbank I knew. This presents an attitude of dictating to the customer and treating customers like they are below you, instead of uplifting them to make them feel enabled and empowered. I truly hope this gets investigated by Risk teams, Audit Teams and a Regulatory team to hold the people and teams accountable for hurting loyal customers and businesses in this manner. Not one single branch member could assist in an efficient manner due to not knowing how to solve this matter and that is an extremely poor reflection on the head office personnel. Kind regards
Edgars Greenstone Shopping Centre, A place I definitely will never support again! People have been complaining about their Bad service hypocrytical policies etc... Well today I can confirm this. Edgars will let you buy a Shirt or Pants that has been fitted by multiple individuals who sweat, have potentials skin Diseases and Bacteria on them and will even exchange such items no problem so that you can happily buy this product and wear it with no arguments or complaints... However, try and return items that don't fit you after it's been washed and they refuse to return the stock. Dimakatso Malepetse, the store manager explained the above is correct and that they would sell contaminated clothing that had been tried on by multiple people, but would never exchange clothing that is too small or too big if it's been washed. Now I genuinely need this clothing as my work clothes are basically worn through after 4 years of wearing and budget has to be protected at all times in this Pandemic. We cannot use the changing rooms and I refuse to follow hygienic practices, but Edgars seem to be ok with Contamination risks. The clothing for exchange is in Pristine condition. just washed and disinfected... Slips are still available, but Edgar's will not exchange, where I have in Fact in the past Exchanged washed Clothes, I just fortunately still had the Tags. Edcon's CEO asked the customer base to support them through these tough times but can't provide decent Quality services to extremely frustrated customers or help customers with basic exchanges. Policies of exchange are highly hypocritical but Dimakatso Malepetse stands by her decision stating "No customer would want to buy washed Clothing, but it's ok to let customers buy clothing that has been tried on by multiple other customers." I will never support EDCON again, and in my humble opinion, they deserve to close down for all the years of overcharging people on their accounts and not even providing a single decent service which customers can enjoy. RSA Solar has an online shopping platform which I would not advise. I found them while shopping for better priced solar goods but should have realized the Company is not legitimate or works in a professional manner at all. I purchased Gel Batteries from the company and ticked the flat rate delivery as I believed that this meant that the delivery was inclusive as there was no additional charges that came up. After not receiving my batteries as expected, I contacted the owners directly and the conversation was more about the Supplier not listening to what I was requested or needed and (Peter) the supplier insisted that I needed to pay an additional R 400 for delivery or needed to fetch the batteries. I refused and demanded a refund from the Supplier as I was expecting a delivery to be inclusive. The Supplier after being very incoherent or helpful eventually agreed to a refund and stated that it would be paid within 3 working days. The supplier has only paid R 7000 of my outstanding R1988.00 and stated he would pay another R 5000.00 on the same day but this has never come to pass. The supplier has promised daily for 2 weeks that the outstanding amount would be repaid and has still not honored their word. My advice is to rather utilize other legitimate suppliers who operate as a Quality business and don't act as what scammers and problem businesses would. These individuals literally run their business like a private play pen with no intent to honor the customer's needs.
