On 03 Jan 2025 my wife bought me a pair of boxers shorts, Inv no 0TR60M312 from Makro in Nelspruit. She bought several other items to the amount of R1309.30. When she gave me the boxer shorts I noticed that it's a Large in stead of XL that I wear. We cept it in the original package and on 07 Jan 2025 we took it back to exchange it for a XL. Although it was still in the original package and not warn. The store refused to exchange it and just said they don't exchange underwear. I tried to explain that the items were never warn and they can see it is still in the original package, they refused to assist in exchanging it. I the called the Makro Head Office complained department and logged a formal complaint with them.
Great company to use when you have to move. Professional and friendly staff. We used them twice.
I would like to thank the staff of Bierman van der Merwe Optometrist for their friendly service and professional conduct during our visit on 11 Jan 2021.
I need to request your assistance regarding the FNB Forex department. My daughter opened a Global Account when she went abroad. Due to a scam where Amazon deducted an amount from het account FNB Forex stop her card and cancelled it. She emailed FNB Forex and explained the fact that she don’t have access to her account and that they should provide her with a new card. She didn’t get any response. I have full access to her FNB accounts and went to a FNB brach in Cape Town and explained the situation to the branch manager. He logged in to her account and saw exactly what she indicated in her emails what happened and that FNB should refund her for the Amazon scam and new card gee. But to get the new card she will have to come to the branch herself to sign for the card. I explained that she is in Turkey and could not come to the branch to sign for her new card. My daughter further send an email to Forex authorizing me to interact with FNB Forex on her behalf. But we don’t get any response from the bank.
When I bought my 2012 Land Rover Freelander II in August 2019, I was encouraged by the garage to take out a two Warranty on the vehicle. They indicated that it is one of the best with no hassles to assist. BUT this is not the fact. In October 2019 I had to problem with the vehicle and had to take it for repair. The vehicle was at the garage for about four weeks. E-mails, telephone calls and personal interaction with Traficc, Landy Centre and the Dealership that I bought the vehicle from. I was without transportation for almost 5 weeks. Although my policy have a clous for car hire, I did not qualify according to Traficc. Now I have to take the vehicle for a cv joint replacement and again the vehicle need to stay at the garage for the workshop to strip the old part, take pictures, write a report and submit it to Traficc for authorisation. I stay about 80km away from the garage. But again I don't qualify due to the fact that car hire policy is only available two days after authorisation is given. The garage mentioned that it will take about 2-3 hours to strip the old part, then they need to write the report, that will only be done late afternoon or the following day and submit the documents to Traficc Warranty for authorisation. The garage can only order the parts after they receive authorisation and that might take a few hours. By day three they might be able to refit the parts and I will be able to collect the vehicle only after Traficc has settled the claim. How long this might take I don't know, but I'm not entitled to make use of the car hire position on my policy.
