Buyer Beware - Overcharged
I had a super experience with Paul, the sales agent & Michelle, the financing agent but the wheels came off when I tried to get a refund for a R10k+ overcharge! Even though it is their fault they insist on refunding the bank instead of me when it has nothing to do with the bank! An otherwise great experience has dissolved into a nightmare and days later I still don’t have my money! I suggest rather using another dealer with adequate after sales service and support who know what they are talking about & who act in your interests. I won’t use Barons Cape Town again for a vehicle purchase! This has been the WORST experience I’ve had purchasing a vehicle. Buyer beware!

Curomed Doctors Bloemfontein
Sourced my details from somewhere and proceeded to WhatsApp advertising to me for Bloemfontein doctors (and I live in Cape Town)! So despite being on a National Do-Not-Call register (which they obviously don’t check or respect) and transgressing POPI - this bunch waste my time to peddle their wares. On principal I’ll never use them & I will notify my networks to boycott them too. It’s high time companies like this behaved ethically & acted in our interests and not to further their own greedy agendas!

Stihl Vacuum Cleaner is bad quality & worthless!
Spent R3k on a vacuum cleaner. Used it for a couple of hours a week for about 18 months and the thing packed up. Absolute waste of money and I wouldn’t recommend it. Worst still is they don’t stand behind their product or the quality. Was just told to pay almost the full price of a new one to repair it so I can basically throw it away. It’s a total *******. Stay away from this product line!

Wetcor Cape operating in Fish Hoek
Mr Buter has complete disdain and disrespect for disabled people. Uses Disabled parking bays for his convenience and refused to move, then **** that a complainant vandalised his car when he was challenged about using the parking bay, then he edited a video of the confrontation between him and the angered disabled person and then posted it on a Facebook group of the local town he was visiting, peppered with lies. The Facebook group, which has thousands of followers (which is the complainants home town), caused untold embarrassment to family and friends and has negatively impacted a young persons employment. I would not trust Buter with my business and would never be associated with someone (or his company) who has such low values and absolute contempt for people with disabilities. His business is built on a lie, he is dishonest, he is an embarrassment to white people working very hard to carve out their future in South Africa. I would steer well clear of him and I wouldn’t trust him further than I could throw him. I hope his family are embarrassed by his behaviour and take him to task. We don’t need people like this among us, abusing us and taking away vital resources disabled people have access to. Shame on you FJ Buter, shame on you! fj@wetcorcape.co.za

****mer at Motocars SA / Oxygen Functional Fitness Ismael Khan
Owner, Ismael Khan is a ****mer. Sold me a car that was registered to someone else, refused to register the car until a letter of demand was sent and then he registered the car in my name immediately but 4 months late and no roadworthy done or license so car is not legal on the road (I paid in full for this to be done), has reneged on repairs agreed to be done, took VAT from me but no tax invoice or proof he paid it to SARS. He’s a chancer and ****mer so don’t buy a vehicle from him. Zero mechanical support available now and he ignores requests to complete the repairs. Operates from the boot of his car and his gym Oxygen Functional Fitness in Greenpoint, Cape Town (not sure if he actually does own it but he says he does). Boasted how he’s been in this situation several times before so he knows how to work the system and he knows it’s costly to hold him accountable. I for one won’t be taken for a fool so won’t be walking away from what he owes me! Sad that dishonest people like Khan can continue to do good people in with no conscience. Would love to know how he was able to register the car in my name without a roadworthy certificate. Stay away from Ismael Khan/Motocars SA/Oxygen Functional Fitness and anything else he is related or linked to. Buyer be very aware!

Diseased product from Utopian Terrariums
If this is Eutopian Terrariums then the review is for you. If not let me know and I’ll remove it. Review is about a terrarium I purchased which was diseased. Multiple messages to their Instagram page and they don’t bother to respond. Poor reseller appears to be in the dark too. What baffles me is why a company advertises on social media but doesn’t manage the account! Silly in this day and age.

Still yummy after years
We have been supporting Village Sushi for many years and still enjoy our meals very much. Management and staff are excellent! Always a nice vibe and yummy meals.
