I explained the situation we have on a payroll transaction and the tax implication thereof and requested Sage support to provide the correct processing on the payroll to ensure it is correctly taxed. The response I receive is that I need to consult a tax practitioner for support.
Committed to not resolving any issues - query logged for EMP501 submission on 25 Oct 25 still not resolved on 12 Nov 25, despite being provided all the information requested and access granted. One would expect a payroll software provider to be aware of SARS submission deadlines, but clearly this is not a concept the Sage support team is fami**** with.
Sage advertises that certified advisors have unlimited access in the role of accountant. In practice Sage expects an accountant (how is a certified advisor) to have a separate user license for each and every client. If you have 50 clients on Sage, you need to have 50 user licenses!!!!! Their software prevents accountants from being invited without a license bought.
The collection practices of the Mossel Bay municipality should be reviewed. It is possible that friends and family are enriched at the expense of investors in Mossel bay. Doing legal collections on a payment that is a day late and charging R100 for an email send out by a computer? No wonder less people are going there and selling. Every heard of reminder emails? Friends don't get rich from that, but you will get your money.
If you are booted for poor service, you are booted. Accept it. Stop sending invoices annually for services you are not engaged for.

We've been a client of Dastek for a number of years and receive excellent service everytime.
I ordered a gift on 10 July for delivery on a birthday 15 July. To date the recipient hasn't been contacted for delivery and I received a request that to provide an alternative cell phone number. How silly? How many cell phones do they think people have? Why don't they use the number provided. Don't use Netflorist. They will spoil your special day.
Item ordered on 12 March 2024 is still not delivered, despite multiple follow-ups as the initial product delivered was incomplete. Takealot hasn't responded on any call logs and the call center hasn't responded after calling them and explaining that the item hasn't been received. What is the next step? Consumer protection act or ***** case?
I reported Sage for not fiddling with client data in closed financial years and VAT periods and refusing to fix it mid Feb. Needless to say, it is a month later and Sage still didn't bother fixing their own ethical mess which causes data *******ion.
