We have a Nedbank Homeloan, and it was covered by Nedbank Home insurance. In March 2025 I cancelled the home insurance, and gotten cheaper home insurance as the insurance at Nedbank just became ridiculous high, and unaffordable. From the start Nedbank Insurance has lots of stories, yet on the 14th of April I received the cancellation letter. I sent an e-mail to Nedbank Homeloans, informing them, and attaching the said letter. Yet to my surprise, I noticed that the amount claimed from Nedbank Homeloans was still the same, and I received a statement showing that an amount of R1114,17 was claimed once again 5th of May 2025. I sent the statement as well as confirmation of my bank details to be refunded, as this was cancelled! Yet now Nedbank is just replying, we acknowledge, and no refund has been made at all. It seems that Nedbank is just doing whatever they want, and money is being taken, and not being repaid! I want my refund asap. It also seems that Nedbank Homeloans and Nedbank Insurance, are not able to communicate to each other.
We cancelled our nedbank home insurance and got other insurance. Reference P05161005516. Cancellation was confirmed with a letter on the 14th of April 2025. Then we received a letter stating an refund would be paid back to us. Two days later when enquiring with no communication further, we asked when the refund would be paid to us? Reply was it was paid back into our homeloan! Who gave and confirmed this instruction? We also informed Nedbank Homeloan that no installment should be paid to Nedbank Insurance. Today I notice that nothing has changed. The instalment was still added to our homeloan. This is not acceptable, as it seems that Nedbank personnel just ignores instructions from customers. I want answers Nedbank. Not happy!!!
Early in the month I took out petsinsurance from abovementioned company. I then realized that the cover they give is much less than other companies for the same price. I sent them an e-mail saying I want to cancel my policy, and that they should cancel the debitorder. They responded then no they want to speak to me. I said I didn't speak to anyone ad it was done online. So the same should apply. This morning I get a notification that a debitorder didn't go through! Even though it would've gone through if I decided to keep it on the 28th! Lets ***** right dotsure?? Please people beware of these ****mers. I want that policy to be cancelled the same way I app**** for it.
On the 24th of October 2024, I bought a Kreepy Krauly Bullshark Pro Machine Pack, and according to the reviews this was the best kreepy krauly to buy. When I received it, It only had three items in it. The kreepy Krauly, the rubber part and an extra pipe. All items were loose in the box, not even packaged in plastic. I tested this in our pool, and it didn't work at all. I immediately logged a return, and my husband took it back to the closest pick up point in Centurion. Today, I received an e-mail from Takealot saying that all parts were not in the box, and the return was declined! How on earth does a place like takealot come up with this, is beyond me. I have returned many items bought from them, the same way I have received it, and today I get this response! Be warned anyone buying from this company! It seems not only do they sent incomplete pieces, they also do not do what they advertise, and choose the refunds they want to do! I will definitely not be buying from them at all! They are *******, and people should not support them!
We have home insurance on our home. We have constantly a blocked pipe in our home, and the sewerage pipes gets blocked up. According to our policy this is covered. Wording in the policy as follows Damage to or cracking of swimming pools, tennis courts, patios, paving, terraces, driveways, paths, septic tanks, dams, watercourses, boundary or retaining walls, sewerage pipes and/ or drains, gates or fences. • Any costs for work necessary to prevent further destruction or damage such as piling or underpinning. • Damage to solid floor slabs or any other part of the insured property resulting from the movement of these slabs, unless the foundations supporting the external walls of the buildings are damaged by the same cause at the same time Yet, when I called them, they just said it is not covered. Now I do not understand. We are paying, and the policy says it is covered, yet the call centre denies this! Is paying Nedbank another ****, and they are taking money each month, and increasing it,? It seems that way to me however. This is structural damage, and not cause by me. This should be repaired by the insurance as stated in the policy. This is not acceptable. policy number P05161005517
I have used pudo numerous times before. Today, I paid to book a parcel, yet, when I tried to book the parcel, the funds didn't reflect. I contacted pudo on their whatsapp number. No response at first, after sending numerous whatsapps with my query, I got the reply that it will take up to 24 hours for my payment to reflect! This has never been the case before! This is unacceptable. This has been the second time this has happened to me with courier guy's pudo website. It seems that this company is starting to ***** from customers, and their whatsapp number is just as useless. I am not happy at all!
I have paid my tv license every year, never skipped a year in March of each year, and suddenly from December I started getting notifications that I have been handed over to debt collectors. It seems paying your license is now also a way of *****ing money, because that is also not considered the correct way to do so. SABC please take note, I will not be paying the debt collectors for a mistake you have made, because my account is up to date. I have proof of all my payments. (reference number 124483151)
I paid up my discovery credit card about 3 years ago and hasn't used it since. About a year ago, I started getting notifications on my e-mail that I had to pay up R90 every month. I paid it, but it didn't stop. I got no statements to say what this was for. On the 12th of January 2024 I called the call centre, requesting that my credit card account must be closed. Credit card 4309380040881951, The lady said that the card would be closed within 10 days, and I would get a notification e-mail. I got no e-mail. Yesterday I got an e-mail notifying me that I needed to pay R90 before the 29th of January. I tried the call centre, to no avail. No one answered. Now I am logging a complaint, because according to my call, and knowledge this account is supposed to be closed. Discovery Bank, first of all, why must I pay for something I am not using, and why is it so difficult to get my credit card closed?
I ordered a book on Takealot #128485103 and paid for it on the 11th of May 2023. I have waited months for this book. It was for sale for R325. On the 17th of May 2023 I only received 2 of the 3 items I have ordered. Needless to say the same afternoon I received a notification that Takelot has cancelled the book, which was now selling for R399! This is not acceptable as they can't just cancel orders when and how they like, and then increase the price!!!! I am hugely disappointed by this company, and will definitely not be buying from them again! I heard rumors that people were complaining but now see it seems to be true.
We bought our house and received a loan from Nedbank bond nr 8002858054501. Everytime since 2016 I have asked Nedbank homeloan department to change the address on the statement as it is not where the bond is, yet, my requests has been ignored! Which means we must own the place as stated on the address even though the address on the bond differs. Why is it so difficult for the department to correct THEIR mistake????? Surely some commonsense is needed to work at a financial institution. We do not stay at the said address as on the statement, which means that our mail is delivered to an incorrect address with our financial information on. What other confidential information is handed out by this institution?? Do your job and correct the address as on the bond.
