Unilever re- visited.
After I initially wrote a mediocre review for Unilever they contacted me and explained the situation. I am impressed that they took the time to write back to me and I’m happy with their customer service in following up my problem

Riverview Mowers Customer First
I visited Riverview Mowers with a faulty operating Shindaiwa Brushcutter. The mechanic - Richard - spent 2 hours trying to sort out the problem and I was really impressed with his knowledge of the machinery. Eventually the problem was found, unfortunately an expensive repair - - - so I was offered a very welcome discount by the owner - Shelley - for a new machine which I bought. Well Done!!!

Unilever Customer Support
I have written to Unilever Customer support twice commenting on one of their products with no response. I realise they are busy but a generic "we have received your mail" does nothing to alleviate the problem at hand. If they are not going to reply why have the email address in the first place.

They have a huge inventory of varied merchandise to kit out kitchens. I'm very pleased with the service I've received - delivery has been swift and the products have always been good quality. After delivery they follow up to ensure satisfaction which a lot of companies don’t do. Well done.

After trying other plumbing shops for some supplies where I was given mediocre service, I then tried Plumblink in Hillcrest. The salesman Alistair was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about his products and sorted my plumbing problems at rapidly. Well done!!

OES Build It Winterton - Positivity
I recently had the pleasure of doing business with OES Company, a supplier of hardware and building materials, and I can't say enough good things about my experience. Firstly the staff at OES Company are incredibly friendly and helpful and willing to assist. Whether I had questions about specific products or needed advice on which materials would best suit my project, their team was always ready to lend a hand. Their expertise and knowledge of the industry were truly impressive. Overall, my experience with OES Company was great. Anlie the sales manager and her competent staff are friendly, responsive, and control a well-stocked inventory, making them a top-notch supplier in the industry. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of hardware and building materials. Prices are slightly higher than average but this is more due to the remoteness of Winterton and the delivery prices they must face to obtain items.......but you can have a free coffee while you shop. Thank you, OES,, for your outstanding service!

Ratel Bosbumper 4x4 Winner!
I bought a custom made RATEL Bumper for my Toyota Hilux 4x4. It was manufactured in Pretoria and couriered to Durban. The Hillcrest company allocated to fit the unit had problems and could not fit it correctly onto my vehicle yet still charged me R3500. Fortunately I was travelling to Pretoria on other business and popped into the “Bos Bumper” factory. The owner Braam took his time to investigate my problem and his staff set about rectifying it to my complete satisfaction without any extra charge. He even fitted my winch as a complementary gesture. Great service and great staff always ensure return business. Thank you.

I have used Mr Winch Durban Umgeni road (aka Peter) for several winch installations, services and repairs, I've always been happy with the knowledge and experience they share and with the work conducted. Peter always takes the time to share his knowledge regarding the best installation and operational techniques with the winch and his staff certainly know there stuff as well. Well done

OnedayOnly personal opinion
I have used this online shopping experience about 12 times. I only ever buy specials and find them very competitive. I have always received my order correctly. Sometimes the delivery has been delayed but always followed up by an email updating me. I feel the amount of orders they deal with this is good practice. I would howver like to see a free delivery service if one spends more than a required amount e.g. R800 or above.
