Do not do business with this company, I paid a holding deposit on a vehicle, then the company informed me the vehicle is no longer available, and never returned my holding deposit.
My TV bought from Takealot stopped working after 4 and a half years, the picture went dead, but there was still sound, so checked and the TV was still under warranty. First I had a huge issue to get them to collect the TV because "It was not in a box"? Who in their right mind, keeps a 55 inch TV box for 5 years!? After I wrapped the TV in 10 meters of bubble wrap, with additional heavy duty bubble wrap over the screen, and around the edges of the TV, and then additionally wrapping all of that in cart-board box that I had to get from the local stores, they collected the TV. A week later, they emailed me, stating they can't allow the warranty claim, seeing that my TV "has a cracked screen". They also added photos to the email....... It looked like a fridge fell on the TV or someone broke the TV on purpose, it had a huge dent in the back, the screen was cracked and some places it seemed like the screen wanted to climb out of the TV edges!!?? In effect, Takealot destroyed my TV that I sent in for a warranty claim, with a small issue of the screen not coming on!! Now I can't even have the TV repaired independently because it is totally destroyed. My next steps will be to contact the Ombudsman, and also lay a charge of Malicious Damage to Property at the SAPS.

This supplier of vehicle security dots is pathetic, and so is their website, if I could I would give them a zero star rating. Just wasted 2 hours of my live trying to find a single fitment centre in my area just to certify the current dots on my vehicle. - None of the phone numbers on the Contact details get answered. - You can't search for an accredited fitment centre near you anywhere on the internet or their website. - When calling their Holdings Company they ask you in what area you are, and then telephonically supply you with details of fitment centres near you. - However in my case in the Centurion are, the one option they supplied, the shop closed down months ago. And in the second instance the fitment centre doesn't do it at their branch, I will have to travel 40km just to get a certificate from a Veridot fitment centre. Pathetic service, I would rather recommend ***** to anyone who is looking to install this feature on their assets. I could easily locate an ***** fitment centre, and they even tried to assit me in finding a VERIDOT fitment centre.

How is it that after two weeks from placing an order with Takealot they let me know they don't have stock of the item anymore, I then, 20 minutes after they let me know change the item to another one.

Takelot then let me know the item, a XBox game for my son, will arive on the day we are going on holiday, three weeks later after the order was placed?

I am sorry, but if you cancel my order, and I accept it and re-order another item, I would expect you to actually get the item to me sooner than 3 weeks.

No wonder the people in my office stopped using Takealot, and probably after this me too, why wait 3 weeks for something I can drive tomorrow over the weekend and go and buy myself?

I contacted the driving academy in February asking if I would be able to get a learners license booking before middle March, and was assured that would be organised.
I was contacted and told to be available on 9 February at 5AM the morning, they would pick me up and take me for the booking. After pickup we drove for over an hour, stood in a queue for more than 1.5 hours, and still did not get a booking.
It was then said we will have to do the process again, having to work every day from 8 to 5 this was difficult w.r.t leave at work. It was then said I must just provide all the documentation and the booking will be done for me (I have already paid half R700 for my experience thus far), and passed through to me. Now I can't seem to get hold of Keegan by WhatsApp, phoning him or e-mailing him, it seems like he has disappeared???
This is actually an update on a previous post I added, I had huge issues to get a new WiFi router seeing that mine has started giving me issues after about 4 years.
At last after my Hello Peter post the people phoned me and we went through the steps to get a new router to me so I could actually use the internet service I am paying for. After a phone call with the sales people they gave me a bank account to deposit R1599 into for a new router and two days later they delivered it with a courier service.
However with ordering the router, I specifically noted that I already have a Contractual monthly account with them and I don't want a new account, they shipped me a 3G router with a SIM card, the router worked for one evening and then stopped seeing that the pre-paid SIM card (That I DID NOT ASK FOR) ran out of airtime. After speaking to the technical support they stated there is nothing they could do and that I had to phone the sales team the following day.
The amount of phone calls I have made to these people I can't even count on both my hands, just to get a replacement router and get my service up and running.
I am now looking at changing providers, the service is useless!!
I have been a customer with Neotel for 5 years, in last year my WiFi router started to give me problems where I had to restart the router more than once a day to actually get connection to the internet.
I have visited their site numerous times to see where I could go and buy a new router, the channel partners close to me that I visited all stated that they don't stock Neotel equipment anymore, and have not for a long time.
I made numerous calls to them and all they can tell me is to either drive to Menlyn shopping centre or to Midrand to go and buy a new device, I live in Centurion and that is pretty much in the middle of the 2 locations, but I simply do not have time to drive that far and go into a shopping centre to go and get a new router?
When I contacted their sales department they pretty much wanted to cancel my contract, and I would have had to go through the whole process to open a new contract so they can supply me with a new router!?
HOW DOES THAT WORK!?
ALL I WANT IS A NEW ROUTER!? Send me a router, and bill me on my Neotel account, or I will pay you cash in your hands when you deliver the router to me!?
I am now looking at moving to a new provider, Neotel....enough!!!
I ordered a Television set from Groupon on 14 February 2015, and according to their delivery policy it will be delivered within 14 working days. I has almost been a month now and I still have had no delivery, no-one can help me, according to them the TV set is in the warehouse in Jhb, and I am 25km away in Centurion, but no-one is shipping this delivery to me? I have spoken to numerous call centre agent, they promise to phone you back, but you never hear from them again.
I have probably made 10 phone calls to them, every time on my own expense, being on hold to actually speak to someone, but still I have not received my order. 2 other orders placed almost a week, and more than a week after this order has already been delivered.
If you can buy an item at a shop for a bit more, I would propose that, because all this order has caused me is lots of frustration, and extra money!!

NEVER AGAIN!!!
