Customer care is a word that this panel beater don't know and are not bothered about. If you have a choice, never, never, take your vehicle to this guys for repairs, they feed you lies day in and day out. They hide behind 'waiting for parts' and have no sense of urgency, as for promises to call you back, FORGET it. I am still wondering why insurance companies still use them, but lets make them popular till something is done !!
Why should a customer suffer financially when the contract stipulates that it is 24 month contractor. Unfortunately service providers like telkom see an opportunity to milk their customers even after the contract has expired. I noticed the R40 debit orders on my account and reversed them because the contract expired and this continued on the next month. When i finally went in to the store to report, i was told that it is month to month contract until i inform them to cancel it, so i cancelled it. Hoping this was the end, another debit order followed end of the month of R 282, when i enquired, i was told that its the outstanding R40 x 2 plus the rejection fee of R 202, that is ridiculous business practice by Telkom. Guys beware of unethical business practices by the likes of Telkom. I noticed that they don't give a damn about customers' reviews but someone out there will read this and avoid being their customer, that's what matters.
I bought duvet cash and when it arrived i noticed is not what i wanted, the following day i returned it and notified that the contact centre that i needed a comforter which was a bit higher than the duvet. The agent then advised me that she will place the order of the comforter so that i never run out of stock while waiting for the returned parcel. Later when i was making inquiry i was told i need to pay the difference of cost of the comforter so that it can be reserved otherwise the system wont reserve without payment. I made the payment and when the duvet finally returned to them and they were supposed to credit my account with the cost of duvet and plus my other payment and then dispatch the comforter. I was told it is out of stock. I then requested my money back, they said they want proof of payment, and i send . Few days they send me an SMS saying my refund has been unsuccesful, no courtesy call to explain why, nothing. I then called them and they said they couldn't find my e-mail with proof of payment, i must give them time to check the system for my e-mail. Three days later, no call from them and i called them and the lady said to me she can't authorize above R 2500 and must get the manager to assist, as to why i was not being contacted to inform me about the new developments no one knows. I spoke to the manager who indicated that he does not understand why the refund was not processed and will have to speak to the back- office. What do i do in the mean time, unfortunately WAIT and WAIT !! It seems to me the company is not in touch with the needs of its customers and it is not even worried about, i guess maybe because they have enough customer base. I mean imagine waiting for a refund of R 3500 and being told is unsuccessful and no one on their side not even bothering to contact you to give any update, when you follow-up they brush you aside and tell you we are looking into it, its just pathetic.
