MiWay sent Tyrese Morley for our roadside assistance, they were absolutely amazing, came early morning without complaints and had us up and running in no time. Highly recommend these guys, thank you!
When my car was hit from behind, MiWay was quick to arrange repairs and they have also recovered my Excess within 3 months. Thank you so much to Bhavika in the Legal Team for the recovery, keep doing what you're doing!
My friend told me that Thrifty car rental is a scam. She said they find anything, visible or not, and make you pay for it. I was desperate because it was Sunday and Avis was closed, so I chanced Thrifty. And just as my friend said, when I took the car back yesterday after a smooth trip, they found a growth on the surface of one tyre and found a barely visible indentation at the bottom of the passenger door. Both things not visible at all, otherwise I would have seen them during the inspection when I fetched the car. It's like they knew those things were there, because the inspection guy went straight to the passenger side and 'found' those things when I brought it back. I was so angry because I had already been told they will pull every trick to make sure they keep my deposit. So I told them 'I knew you were gonna keep my deposit no matter what happens, so keep it, you are scammers and you will be out of business soon'. So guys, please wait for Avis and get a rental car from them if you want peace of mind and if you want your deposit back.
Excellent, quick response and service.
News Cafe East London urgently needs new management. We went there on New Years' Eve (31 Dec 2019) which is a busy time for the entertainment industry. However, at East London News Cafe there was 1 bar-man and 2 waiters. You can imagine I had to go get the menu myself after 10 minutes of arriving and no assistance, then we waited 20 minutes before we could order drinks, then when 30 minutes later our drinks had not arrived we got angry, told them what we think of their ridiculous non-existent service and left. We wasted 1 hour of our time there and could not even get a Hunters Dry
Yesterday my friends and I went to Fourways farmer's market and have decided we will never go there again. There was a black man there selling coconuts, who racially abused two Asian youngsters. I had just bought a coconut from him so I was right there when he shouted "hey Chinaman!" to the two Asian youngsters. I was absolutely horrified, I immediately asked him to apologize to them and he refused. He said "I don't even care if they buy from me or not". It was a very sad day for me as a black woman to hear such racial abuse from my own people, meanwhile I have traveled all over the world and have never been racially abused anywhere. I hope that man gets removed from the Fourways farmer's market.
