I absolutely need to commend Thabang Latakgomo for his assistance today. Such a friendly and super competent individual. It is Bestmed staff like Thabang that makes such a difference in a person's life when you need it.

Oh, and Vodacom does it again! **** service to long-standing customers. I have had issues with my fibre. Having received my router in 2019, I chose to renew my contract, specifically stating that I want a new router. Surprise, my contract has been renewed - AT A HIGHER RATE AND NO NEW ROUTER. I could just have left it as is - AT THE REDUCED PRICE. Now after a six-month period of my normal subscription, it then increases - AND NO NEW ROUTER.
I wish I could give Reynard and the team at Car Service City 10 stars. Reynard is so professional and resolved the issue with my car, when two previous places could not. Always friendly and always helpful. This is one place where you can be guaranteed excellent service.
The service you get from Cemair regarding queries and flight changes is excellent. I made a booking and needed to make a change to the booking. Puso helped me and it was resolved in a few minutes, and he is so friendly and helpful. 10 out of 10 for Cemair.
Regarding the damaged Hisense TV that was delivered that neither FNB nor Digital Planet is willing consider that the unit was damaged before we unboxed it and say that we damaged the TV; I phoned Hisense to get an approximate cost to replace the screen that I didn't break, only to find out that they don't even have replacement screens for that model. 2022!
We have been advised by Digital Planet that FNB holds us responsible for a faulty TV delivered by Digital Planet. We are now requesting that FNB chooses who they want to use for us to undergo polygraph tests (as well as the people who delivered the TV)
My received an offer that she is eligible to purchase a device which was ordered. This was a Hisense Smart TV. Upon delivery, when my Mom asked what she must do, they told her "Sign here". She is 87. They did not try and assist with checking the contents in the box. They did not offer to help check that the item was intact. We have now been told that we damaged the TV which is not true. What defense do we have now? The emotional trauma my mother has experienced with this transaction is unacceptable. The box was not damaged, there was no indication that there would be a faulty TV in the box.
Having already posted that Digital Planet delivered a TV with a cracked screen on Hello Peter, and basically having been told that we damaged the TV and we are lying, I feel the need to warn anyone from purchasing a device from Digital Planet via FNB. Do not accept a product on face value. Insist that the people who deliver the item open the box and check it. Do not even touch the box. The people from Collivery were unwilling to help my Mom unbox a TV. When she asked what she must do, they told her "sign here". She is 87. I consider this elderly abuse and will lodge a complaint with the necessary authorities. Not everyone in South Africa lies and is *******. Not everyone in South Africa should just have to sit back and accept being told you are dishonest. I don't know who must be more embarrassed by the way my mother has been treated, Digital Planet, or FNB who endorses their services.
My 87-year old mother was offered an opportunity to purchase a device through FNB and opted for a 65" Hisense Smart TV. The TV was delivered and although was a sticker stating "please check your device"", there is no way she could have checked it simply due to the size of the TV. I contacted Digital Planet who was adamant that my mom should have checked the device. I was then told the matter would be escalated to Hisense. Please note, when the TV was unboxed, there was no visible damage on the screen. I was only once the TV was switched on that it showed a severe crack. Hisense, without having seen the TV stated they are not responsible. The box showed no signs of outer damage. There was no reason for my mom to even think that the TV inside could be damaged. The way this matter has been handled is so sad as my Mom is now the victim and our integrity is being questioned. The TV and box showed nothing of concern. After the crack was seen once the TV was switched on, you could see a mark because you were specifically looking for it. I will never encourage anyone to take up a deal offered by FNB through Digital Planet.
