<p>3 weeks no response on my cracked screen repair, I have once again had to call THEM. this is my second bad review. Lets hope this time it helps. I've also asked multiple times to escalate the matter. No reponse. It's almost like they hope if they ignore it, it'll go away</p>
<p>My LG G4 recently fell flat on it's face and cracked it's screen... as smartphones tend to do. Luckily I have insurance.... o wait... seems that I'm mistaken. I logged a repair with callsure, they came to pick up my phone. 1 and a half week later... still no feedback. I gave callsure a call, apparently the phone is beyond economic repair and they will replace. Now this is fine, except that they want to replace my insured LG G4 with a less expensive phone i.e galaxy Advanced or a LG G3. It costs R2000 to repair the screen, but its more economical to replace it with a R6000 smartphone. also no contact has been made with me regarding this. I had to call callsure to find this out about a wek after the no repair decision has been made.</p> <p> </p> <p>Also the Insured device.. an LG G4 currently retails for around R8000-R10000. To replace this phone with a R6000 model, or it's previus revision the LG G3. Is not acceptable.</p> <p> </p>
So apparently my query has been marked urgent. I've received the following escalation numbers? I have not yet have my issue resolved... <br> <br> SM214905<br> SM211050<br> <br> never mind all the other complaints and communications. Who is paying for the hours spent on th 10210 line from my cellphone to no success? Who is paying for my time wasted? and lastly who is covering my excess mobile data bill because i do not have an ADSL line. I had ADSL to the 1st of march and Boom its gone?<br> <br> my only assumption is that telkom DOES NOT WANT to HELP. I'm moving to afrihost.<br> <br> BTW this is my 2nd hellopeter, never mind facebook, twitter and MULTIPLE calls
Someone at Telkom decided to migrate my adsl line. Itvwas a huge headache to get the line in the first place. Then Hellcom decides to cancel it for me. 17 days later with loads of calls, messages and complaints a technician has to inform me this is the case.. That my adsl line is fine.. Telkom just cancelled my adsl line.. PATHETIC. I cant wait for an alternative supplier to roll out ftth in my area
Telkom is notoriously bad at service. Well if your having a hard time getting anything done with telkom.. Try closing your account / cancelling a contract. It takes 3 weeks to repond then gives some bullshit excuse not to cancel. Meanwhile im not living in the apartment anymore and being sent invoices for a service no longer used or required

To be fair, they did respond in an obscure little message on the bottom of my query. However to get to this you have to smell that mtn responded, open the query, and to your little surprise not receive any useful help.<br> <br> * Thank you for Disabling my voice mail... If I am not mistaken, This is a service I PAY for. One day, this function just stopped working on my phone? If this is not restored... I believe it is time that YOU start rendering a little thing we call SERVICE.<br> <br> *Lastly I have tried your customer support center 13 times this morning, each time getting a dropped call after some time listening to annoying music. So I end my complaint with the little fact... MTN is so useless you even get dropped calls to their helpline
