<p>When trying to claim from my Csurance, which I have been paying for 6 years, I phoned them and it took more than an hour for them to answer the phone. </p> <p> </p> <p>When speaking to them they advised me that I'm not even on their system, and i provided them with all te proof of payments an so forth </p> <p> </p> <p>They replied then after all te struggles my claim had been logged but ever since I have not received any feedback from them and I have sent plenty of requests for updates on my claim </p> <p> </p> <p>Ticket id:290670</p>

<p>Your customer service person Cherylize Francis cannot speak to customers. I phoned in regarding a new claim and asked how long it will take for feedback and she tells me she doesnt know. Does this mean it may take six month? as i have asked her for an estimate and she tells me with attitude "i said i dont know"'. what kind of attitude is that? now i even wonder what kind of feedback i will be getting from your company regarding my claim if you have many of Cherylize Francis there. Had i checked feedback from other customers i dont think i would have dealt with this company at the first place.</p>

<p>My screen of my phone cracked and i then informed the insurance about this. I have been going back and forth with this insurance company since the 7th of November 2016 and to date i have still not received my phone. They only collected the phone a month later after failing to give me documents to get it fixed for free by Samsung. When i enquired on on the progress i was then advised to pay an excess amount which i paid on 22 December 2017, proof thereof was submitted. Since then every thing has been going back and forth to even being told i will receive a new phone by Khethiwe Thovhakale if they dont get feedback by16 January 2017, still nothing. I then enquired again and was sent from pillar to post. This company does not call or even provide you with feedback on anything. I have been without a phone for close to two months now. Thought i should write here first before i report to theOmbudsman.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>

<p>I have a Cellphone contract through Glocell on which i pay a monthly Insurance fee.</p> <p> </p> <p>I made an insurance claim request through my-insurance@glocell which is processed through Fairtradesolutions.</p> <p> </p> <p>I was told my device would be collected on the 30th November 2016. I emailed on the day of collection to enquire on what time the collection would occur, and was told it could happen at any time up until 5 o clock.</p> <p>Up until 5 o clock, no one arrived and i received no phone calls. I emailed back to enquire on this, the lady apologised for the miscommunication but my area would only be serviced 2 days later on the 2nd of December 2016. (TODAY) </p> <p> </p> <p>First of all, i made special arrangement to stay at the address for the wednesday collection. I made sure i was available up until 5 o clock. Second of all, how do you tell a customer that the collection will happen before 5, and then tell them that the area will only be serviced two days later?</p> <p> </p> <p>I told the person that i will only be available up until 15:00 today if the collection is to happen. It is now 15:21. No attempt has been made to contact me to inform me of anything.</p> <p>Absolutely no regard for customer's time and patience.</p> <p> </p> <p>REF: 506251</p>

Then a person by the name of Fikile Mbeye sent me and email dictating to me a paying consumer which 2 options to choose from as these are the only two avaliable in my insurance band! Are you kidding me! Two options only and they call themselves an insurance company. I looked up the market value of these handsets and they value is far below the band I have insured for. I asked her to investigate certain handsets and get back to me and did he/ or she do that? NO! It is sad that in the age of the Consumer Protection Act we get incompetent consultants dealing with services we pay for with our hard earned money. Thanks for nothing Fikile Mbeye and Fairtrade solutions. I love my insurance company...NOT!</p>

<p>3 weeks no response on my cracked screen repair, I have once again had to call THEM. this is my second bad review. Lets hope this time it helps. I've also asked multiple times to escalate the matter. No reponse. It's almost like they hope if they ignore it, it'll go away</p>
