I paid a deposit and sent a cancelation letter on 28th Dec 2022, 5days later, then they penalized me R1800 of the initial R12000 I paid. I was told that it's bank charges, and j told them it's impossible, then the 2nd time around i was told its t&c on website which i was not Made aware of or explained to me when i paid. Anyways these t and c are in contravention of the consumer act. Highlighted this to them but nothing was done. Sent emails, and sms's and told that they can only respond when finance responds. Today the 28th of Feb 2023 still waiting. Tomorrow I'm lodging a formal complaint with with the consumer council.

Bought a bed and was promised that it would be delivered the following day in the morning. I lost half of my work day waiting for them, them I decided to go to work after 12. They called me just before 4 to say that there are at the gate. Told them I'm not home then rescheduled for the following day, and I asked them to please adhere to the agreed timeliness which were between 4 and 4h30. Made arrangements with someone to let them in, as i had to work back the half day i lost whilst waitingfor them. Then they don't pitch up again and called around 5h20 saying thta they are delivering. And by that time again no one at home. Went to their store and asked for my refund and was told that I have to send my bank confirmation and they will transfer the money to my bank account. Brandon said he will expedite my refund. This was the 28th of Dec. Sent an email, to follow up on my refund Jan 9th and was informed that my request was sent to head office on the 4th of Jan and payment will be processed latest the 13th of Jan. Nothing came through my bank account and followed up on the 17th, and was told that payment was processed Friday the 13th. I was like ok please provide me with proof of payment, and was told that "let me request it and I'll send it through." Nothing came through followed up again before closing time and was told "we waiting for head office". 18th Jan called 1st thing in the morning again, Brandon was asked and he confirmed that the payment was processed on Friday the 13th. Then where is the POP, a head office excuse came through. I requested that Brandon calls me back, it's 21h45 and still no call back, no refund and yet payment was processed on Fri the 13th. I am being made a fool for requesting my money, why do I have to go through loops and hoops and fight for what's mine. your service is beyond disgusting. Today, 31 JAN 2023 TIME 23H45 I still haven't received my refund despite calls and email communication sent, and the shop stating that the payment has been processed. I am takings this up with the consumer council.
They dont deserve my star. Did my eye test 28 August 2019. I am the one who have been pestering them, and asking them if they managed to get my TRIAL lenses. On 19 Nov, they finally said my Trial lenses have arrived. Got there on the 20th, and guess what... Im given contact lenses which are the same script as my eye glasses, upon questioning the script of the lenses the admin calls the optometrist, who then acts like he is MR know it all. I ask him as to why am o given 1. An incorrect script and 2. The wrong brand of contacts when I specifically asked for biofinity. He tells me that he corrected the contact lenses script and also said all contact lenses are the same it's just the branding thereof that's different. I got mad, and told him that I dont buy his explanation as before using biofinity I had to try out 3 other brands which weren't comfortable at all. What really ****es me off is that, he wasn't even listening to me as he kept interrupting me when I explained my story... I am telling you if u was a person who is used to swearing or making scene I could in the front pages of Sunday world... From 28 August till 20 November... haai guys, your customers service is beyond rubbish,.. I ended up, asking for a script as I dont want drama in my life(I dont even trust their eye test results anymore, as now the contact lenses script is 0.25 less compare what they wanted to give me the 2nd time around for my right eye.... I'll go to an optometrist who values my service and time.....
There is an unauthorised upgrade done on my data contract with Vodacom, the upgrade was done on the 5th July. On the 17th of July, I called the upgrade department, and the lady who assisted me confirmed that indeed the upgrade was done by an individual within their department. She stressed the point that all calls are recorded, then I requested for the actual recording of the call which was made to me. She asked me for an alternative number, saying that she will call me back, as she need to extract the actual call 1st. She called me back on my 083 number on the 17th July, and said that she will reverse all unauthorized cost related to the upgrade. I then again asked her to please send me the actual recording of the call I presumably authorized the upgrade, and also requested infor as to what corrective measures are going to be taken against the person/agent who claimed that I authorized the upgrade. The, 19th , I called to follow up on the retrieval of call, and to my surprised I am told that the charges cant be reversed, and I needed to send an email to your department before any of these could be done. I sent through an email, but still haven't received the actual call that was made for the upgrade. My question is then, if vodacom claims that I AUTHORISED THE UPGRADE, WHY IS THE ONUS ON ME TO RUN AROUND TO DO AFFIDAVITS AND PROVIDE 3 SIGNATURES, IF THE UPGRADE WAS DONE VIA A RECORDED LINE. WHY CAN'T THE ONUS BE ON VODACOM TO PROVIDE ME WITH PROOF THAT I AUTHORISED THE UPGRADE, it irks me, to have to run around, using my own time and money; because your own internal processed aren't designed to favour the customer requests. If a contract has been offered through a recorded line, why do still need to validate my ID and signature as you could easily go to the call and verify what was said.
I called 135 to assist me as I had erroneously loaded airtime in an incorrect number; and was told that Vodacom is unable to assist me; as it means that they will have to do a reversal from someone's cellnumber. I told the agent that I have proof an invoice issues by standard bank which has a reference number and could give them a number which the airtime was transferred to; but the agent could still not assist me. I told her that I even called the number that I incorrectly loaded the airtime into; and he told me that he is in a contract and hasn't received an sms of the loaded airtime; if he did he could transfer it back. Now kindly assist in reversing this airtime into my call number
I wonder if the only way Nedbank listen is when we go public with the complaints. I have made a debit order date of the 20th on my personal loan account; for a reason; I get paid on the 20th... Now; I have previously contacted them about Nedbank debuting a day or 2 before the 20th if the day falls on Sunday. But no; everything fell on death ears. So who is the Einstein who came up with the notion of implementing such nonsensical idea; and who signed it off. How many more courtesy calls should on make and request this not to be done until you guys actually listen.
