I moved out of the country and I have been trying to change my OTP number for two weeks I have send 10 emails and 5 what's app with reference numbers butno reply or respond. The service is just horrific
Absa bank has stolen R2100 from my account on the 30th of July. I have complained on Hellopeter twice. I have sent 10 emails to the complaints department, Patrick West, Lebo Mashiane, Group customer care, complaints and Absa and you can name them all. I even went so far as to post on their Facebook page how useless they are. Still, they could not give me my money back, but they dared to charge me interest on my credit card for that missing money. Now The useless Lebo Mashiane tells me that they paid the money back on the 30th of July 2022. Lebo can you please wake up. That was the money that went to the wrong account, the account that Absa placed on my profile that does not belong to me. On that same day, I had to pay the same amount again to my credit card as they stated that they would pay it back in 36 hours. Well well, Absa, it is now almost two months. I am going viral with this, I had enough.
Never felt so betrayed by a bank that I have been dealing with my entire life. I transferred R2100 into a closed credit card on Saturday the 31 August. I had no idea where the account came from but it was under my normal credit card and I picked the wrong one. I called immediately and notify the bank as my debit orders will go off from that account. The lady said the money will transfer back automatically. On Wednesday it was still not in so I phoned again and spoke to a lady that made me feel like I am an idiot and she was very rude. I asked for assistance for my R145 debit order until ABSA can rectify this problem, which I did not see as a problem as I am banking with ABSA for 43 years. She said no and did not help at all. I transferred money from my credit card but my debit order bounced anyway and ABSA has the audacity to charge me for it. It is now 3 weeks and my R2100 is still not in my account. I have sent Patric West the person who dealt with the problem, a message and he just ignores me. I have resent my complaint to the missing payments division (Scary that there has to be a division like that) and they send an email back stating it takes 5 working days for the money to reflect...this after three weeks. Maybe I should go on FB and inform people that money can just go missing from your account at ABSA.
SSS Cellular is giving you a bad name and because of them people move to Vodacom
DO NOT take anything to SSS cellular to be repaired. They break it further and then you must pay for the repairs. Useless
I am so disappointed in your service I want to change to Vodacom. Being a loyal business customer for 18 years means nothing. And SSS Celular is not making you look any better. easy to blame the client isn't it

I thought I will try this route before I slam this company on social media. 17 years, loyalty payments, it means nothing to this company. They will rather let a child die than pay for something that they know is very serious. I heard that I could have gone on Bestmed with no waiting periods, I should have shown Discovery the middle finger the same way they have been doing to me.
Discovery used to be in a league of their own but I can assure you their service is deteriorating faster than Bonitas. I can't even pay them they don't want their money but they will phone at the end of the month and ask where is the contribution, that is for sure or take a double payment without my content.
I have a major problem with Dischem's new virtual doctor system. I have sent emails to their careline and I have phoned head office on 011-5892200 and still, they don't bother to help me. My next Hellopeter complaint will discuss this new system of them in detail.
