Do not deal with LDR Engines and Gearboxes Cape Town. On 7 August 2025, I was quoted on an engine by Divan, who sent me pictures of three engines (marked 1, 2, and 3). I forwarded these to my customer for approval, and the customer confirmed they were happy with the specific engine shown. On 19 August, I contacted Divan to confirm that the customer had paid and wanted to proceed with the purchase. As Divan was unavailable, I spoke with Kouthar, sent her all previous chats and pictures from Divan, and confirmed that we would like to pay for the same engine quoted. A quote was issued, and payment was made. However, when the engine was delivered to my shop on 27 August, it was not the same engine we had agreed upon. The delivered engine (with a brown, rusty appearance) was completely different from what was quoted and approved. When I queried this, I was informed that the original engine Divan quoted on had been sold — but I was only told this after delivery, not before. LDR Engines then took it upon themselves to send me a replacement engine that I did not purchase or approve. I have recorded telephone conversations confirming that Divan promised to sort the issue out. However, instead of resolving the matter fairly, LDR Engines is now demanding that I pay a 15% handling fee and additional courier costs for the engines — despite the fact that the mistake was entirely on their side. If I had been informed upfront that the quoted engine had been sold, or if I had been shown the actual engines available (which I’ve now attached to this complaint), I would never have proceeded with the purchase. This company unilaterally sent an engine I did not buy, and is now trying to hold me liable for their own error. Proceed with caution — this is not how honest, transparent business is done.
I had such a great experience working with Conrad Craig from Ooba on my home loan application. He was always available to answer my questions, returned my calls without delay, and kept me updated every step of the way. What I appreciated most was how patient, approachable, and supportive he was throughout the process — it really made a big difference. Conrad truly made the whole journey so much easier, and it was an absolute pleasure dealing with him.
I had a very disappointing experience with Letaria. I placed my first order on 12/09, and according to her website, delivery takes 7 days. When the order still hadn’t arrived by 25/09, I reached out as advised. The excuse given was bad weather. Despite this, I decided to give her another chance and placed a second order on 29/10. When it still hadn’t arrived by 11/11, I messaged her again. She failed to follow through on her promised response by 12/11, and eventually canceled my order and issued a refund. This repeated failure to meet delivery promises is completely unacceptable. The service was nothing short of pathetic

I have taken out a loan with FNB in May sometime and since taking out the loan my FNB account has not been debited which ended up in my loan account going into arrears, When I had checked my loan account statement it showed the debit orders as being unpaid, but my account has never been debited, so I transferred funds to bring the account up to date. When I had called FNB on the 8 July 2024 I was told that they have been trying to debit a Capitec account 2266092665 , mind you I have never banked with Capitec or set foot in a Capitec bank. This negligence on FNBs side has now cause a negative effect on my bureau. I had told the person from FNB to load the debit, so the debit order goes off my account as I only bank with FNB. On the 12 July I noticed that once again I was not debited for the loan so I once again transferred funds for the loan. I emailed FNB to find out what was going on because on the 8 July I had told them to rectify their mishap, but it seems it was not done. I get an email today stating that they the debit order is coming back returned from a Capitec, this is really frustrating as I would like to know how FNB verifies bank accounts the account that is captured on my loan debit order details belongs to a MR LL NTHANI. Because of the incompetence of the person who captured my debit order details this now has an unpaid notice on my credit bureau.
So disappointed with fishaways in Port Shepstone. I had ordered lunch for my husband at around 13:30 today 5/11. I order the sharing meal for 2 for R99 via the app. I then called at 14:30 to follow up as nothing was delivered. So the lady tells me that there is no sharing meal for 2 I said but it’s on the app and I want the meal because I had paid for it. She said she can not and will send the platter for 1 instead. They did not have the decency of even trying to contact me in that hour to explain that they do not have that order on menu. I had to call in and find out what’s the delay after 1 hour. After doing my errands I returned to our shop at 15:30 and see the delivery guy delivering the meal at 15:30 which was 2 hrs after I had placed the initial order with cold soggy food absolutely oily onion rings. Food was ice cold and just horrible. I was not going to review but the reason for my review at this hour is because I am up with a sick husband who has tummy cramps and nausea and fishaways was the last thing he ate. Service really sucks. Will post pick of proof of order which I was told I couldn’t get and they took it upon themselves to tell me what they can give me
The review posted by Nicky H is clearly malicious. I have never had dealings with this person this is clearly a jealous act. Can this Nicky H kindly show proof of dealing with our business. A case of Crimen injuria and harassment are opened and my lawyer will be in contact with the parties involve. As this matter is now personal.
GOSH Reading some reviews on HelloPeter seems like this is an often occurrence with Nabsi Spares. On the 26 June 2019 I had put up a request on the website Looking for Spare Parts and was then contacted by NABSI Auto Spares saying they have the part. I had then asked for pics to see if the part was correct after getting the pics, I then confirmed that the part in the pic is correct and we made arrangements for payment and I had paid the courier to fetch the part. On receipt of the part it was not the correct part it was not even the part in the picture that they had sent me so I contacted them, and they advised they will send the correct part, when the second part came it was the incorrect part again. They never return your calls when you leave messages, their phone lines do not ever work, or they just choose not to answer. This is the worst place I have ever dealt with. Then to get a refund from them was another nightmare. They made me wait for them to send a courier to fetch the incorrect part from me before refunding my money back to me. Then when I contacted them on the 9 July 2019 as they should have sent the courier to the fetch the part I was told that they did not send a courier so on the 10 July 2019 I had to make arrangements to get their wrong part back to them. OH MY GOD I have never in my life dealt with such incompetent people such a mission and so much frustration dealing with them. Then Jay got the audacity to swear me on the phone and call me a stupid and when I asked wheres his boss he said his boss is not there I then asked does your boss know what you guys are doing and the service you offer he replies yes my boss is aware. Guys please don't ever by parts from these they are a rip off. Then after refunding me they say they did not receive the parts which is very strange so I gave them tracking number, anyway after threatening them with a legal route with this matter they all of a sudden apologized and was very nice to me after swearing me on the phone but damage was already done. So just a warning these people really don't know what they are doing they will waste your time and effort if you buy parts from them. My nightmare started with them on the 26 June 2019 and only ended today 11 July 2019 as I got the refund today.
