I have been struggling with an error on my profile for nearly a month and i have had over 10 attempts at getting someone to help me including making an international call, spending over 20minutes with a consultant, whilst roaming. I have recieved multiple automated emails with reference numbers and a promise of being contacted in 48 hours but with no response. I wrote to forex department and after over a week since sending my query, i recieved a response and was asked to send screen shots of the error( i am unable to make outgoing international payment from my app or internet banking). I immediately sent a reply but have never heard from them since that response. I wrote to "my banker" according to my app but he said he no longer has administrative control over my account. This is unacceptable! I am out of the country, i need to make an urgent international payment, but standard bank does not care. I have been banking with standard bank for over 10 years!
i had such a terrible and unacceptable experience with standard bank customer care today. although i do understand that with covid, waiting times are extended but what happened was not purely as a result of that. i started by sending emails which no one responded to the first time, after the automated response. then from my second email, i got a response saying i should speak to transactional banking and was given a number. i have spent more than an hour trying to speak to someone who can assist me. all this whilst on an international call as i am outside the country and unable to roam where i am. i got through to a consultant who seemed like he would help but after about 20 minutes, the call cut. i called again, after which i was transferred to about 4 different people until the line cut again. i called for a third time, this time i was transferred once to the authorization department which seemed to be the right department. after going through the security questions, she said she was looking into my account to confirm the transaction i was querying.( i made a transaction using my virtual card, which was declined by the merchant and the money was to be transferred back to my account, but after more than 10 working days passing, the money was still not reflecting)...this consultant put me on hold for aver 10 minutes and after about 12 minutes, i get a automated voice asking me to rate the call after which the line cut! why, especially with covid can some of these issues be resolved online? i specifically asked one consultant after he did the security check if there was someone i could email because i was outside of the country, he just brushed off my question and proceeded to ask if he can call me back!
in this time of so much sadness, i was happy to receive great service from standard bank customer care and internet banking help desk. i was phoning from overseas, the reception was not so clear but the team stay on line until the matter was resolved. thank you again and keep safe.
I was at the water front branch. The food was nice though tiny portions, service was good too.
I have been battling for months now to get help with accessing my online profile. This is the second hello Peter review. It seems that's the only way to get someone at mfc to actually talk to you. I was told the issue was resolved multiple times but when I log in, it says no account details found! I am not in a position to wait 20 min for someone to answer at the call center. I tried using emailing for settlement quotes, no response. Honestly MFC, what else must I do!!!?????
After being with MFC and nebank for so long, it's such a disappointment having to say this. I phoned twice regarding my online profulile anot showing my account details. Both times, j was told to give it time. It's been about 4 months and still nothing. I phoned and emailed about week and a half days ago. Was told to wait 48hrs but still, nothing! I can honestly say, I ll think twice next time I chose a financier for property.
I wrote a complaint about my data finishing quickly, got a generic response which has never been followed up! Today is the 3rd, my internet was loaded on the 1st and its saying out of bundle! I'm always at work, haven't downloaded anything so... On top of that I keep getting calls about upgrading my account!
I don't know what ha bee happening with Telkom lately but my data doesn't even last a week! I was gone for the weekend, didn't use my computer, today I find I have no data! How?? Clearly it's time to change to a different provider. This is pure day light robbery!
we git a communication from this restaurant regarding their rub promotion on thursdays. anxious to try it, we drove from olivedale to revonia. when we get there after giving us a few minutes, the waitor comes and we ask her for the rib special. she then informs us that she believes the special is finished but will double check. she came back shortly after and told us that 2 are available but we must order fast as another couple just came in. so I tell her to put in one order of ribs plus drinks as my partner did not want ribs. he then spends. few minutes screaming about how we aren't allowed to share and how my partner has to also order something right then and there. we repeatedly told her that we understand that and Will not share but he just needed a minute to go through the menu, but she can place the other order in the mean time. she then started screaming again about how "people" do this and end up not ordering anything but sharing the food we repeatedly told her we understood the rules. after about 10 minutes of this back and forth, she agrees to place the order. but only for the manager to come back to our table telling us the ribs are finished and that the last 2 were taken! he said we are free to buy the ribs at the normal price. I don't know whether its racial profiling or just plain bad service, but the way we were treated was completely unacceptable. all that drama for ribs! ps. the people who came after us, got the ribs!
simply asia boskruin is in desperate need of more waiting staff. the wait between service, the wait to get drunk or the bills is just too long. most times we can even see our food on the table just waiting to be collected and deliverd. the staff are friendly and the manager looks like he is trying but they are clearly not coping. I think my time at simply asia has come to an end sadly.
