Still no feedback from Takealot regarding refund that needs to be made because of cheap products they sell. they keep on sending update emails but nothing gets done, they cannot even phone the customer. This is really not good publicity for such a big company. I will be taking this matter further today, I thing I gave them enough time to actually fix the problem.
My daughter bought a car door handle from Takealot. Handle arrived they put the handle in the door of the car, first time using it the handle broke off. My daughter then booked a return, takealot refused to give her a refund said she broke the handle. This is just plain and simple ripp off, swlling cheap products to customers and then refuses refunds. We have been fighting with Takealot and just keep on being promised the will get back to us, this have been going on for over a week. Please beware before supporting Takealot. They sell cheap products and then refuses to be of assistance when something breaks. We do not know what to do anymore to just get helped.
I upgraded to a Samsung A24 aboit 9-10 months ago a week ago I discovered that the phones battery is faulty it was swollen uo so mich it popped my phones back cover. Vodacom says I mist pay for repairs. I was not happy with that so I sent an email to Samsung on 1 May 2024, I did not get any reply, phoned Samsung again the ladg sent she will escalate this to the team leader. 3 May I got an email asking for contact details, take note note call feom team leader yet. I sent my cell number immediately. Still no communication from Samsung. If this is the service they give, why would anybody want to do bussiness with them. Very bad service
I took my fone in to Vodashop on Monday last week. Faulty battery, the battery was swollen so mich the back cover popped open. When my phone eventually got to George repair centre, it keep on saying the phone is in assesment. I have been trying ro get hold of George repair centre they simply do not answer their phones. I phoned the Vodashop in George they said they are not allowed to give the cell number of staaf, they will ask them to phone me, well this was last week I am still waiting for a call, on Friday I phoned again to get an email adr, sent an email still no reply on my email. This is absolutely horrible service from such a big company.
I upgraded my phone with Vodacom on 12 July 2023. I chose the Samsung A24, take note I have not started using this phone on that date, I upgraded and then had to wait for the phone to be delivered. The weekend of 27 April 2024 my phone started to reboot all the time on it's own and then I had to put it on charge before I could get it switched on again. On Monday morning 29 April 2024 I took of my back phone protector, justt to discover that my battery was so swollen that it actually lifted the back of my phone. I phoned Vodacom as I only had this phone for about 9 or 10 months. They told me to take it into a vodashop, then they will send it to repairs. I first phoned the Vodashop, they then told me that I would be liable to pay for tge repairs. This is utter nonsense how can I pay off on a phone for 3 years, but within 9-10 months my battery is faulty. Vodavom is the worst company ever. I will take this to the highest level l, even to the Ombits Man and to Consumers act. I will not be paying for this repairs because I did not damage this phone, this is a factory problem or faulty battery. Now they tell me you get 7 days out for of box failure, the battery was perfectly fine for first 9-10 months. I will definitely take this further.
This business is the worst, they keep on saying they have stock and when you want to order there is no stock. They don't answers calls or whatsapps and when they eventually dk amd say they will phone back with info they never do. Rather buy from a supermarket and be syre you will habe nappies for your little one. It's actually such a shame that this company is so useless because the nappies is really great, bit you can hatdly ever get stock, the poor resellers must take all the flack from their customers becaise theitlr company cannot supply
I ordered 2 spray mops from takealot, when the mops arrived they did not spray, so I booked a return and order 2 more expensive mops, well my new mops arrived today and it is exactly the same as the ones I've returned even the same damaged box, yet again not spraying, not to my surprise because I could see it's the mops I have returned faulty. I phoned the help deak and this woman just want to give me her story not listening to what I am trying to say. She eants to put the blame on the supplier, but it is not their problem, they made the mistake in sen**** oit the imcorrect stock not the supplier, they did not check the order to the stock. So now I must go through the whole story again for a credit and then waiting 2 weeks for my new mops l, that is if takealot can send the correct stock. Very dissapointed with takealot and this lady that is not really willing to help and would not let me apeak to a supervisor r or manager. That's why it's called a customer service line, bit they don't want to listen to reason. There is no other way of contacting takealot.
Typically Pick n Pay. I sent this email on the 29th of November 2021 already, still not a single word from them!!! Good day I bought some Lean Beef Mince from your Knysna store on the 29th of November, as you can see from the attached pictures pnp advertised the mince for R69.99 per kilo from the 29th of November. The mince is marked on the label for R96.99. I was charged at R96.99 per kilo as you can see on my till slip. Why do you advertise specials and then you charge the customers more, this is surely not acceptable. I know it is a small amount, but if you add up all the customers that goes through your store in one day it adds up to a lot. This Knysna store of yours really needs attention from head office, I was in this store about a week ago wanting to use a voucher that I got from my Standard Bank rewards, the cashier did not know how to process the voucher, she tried to get hold of a supervisor, this person was on lunch, so there was only one supervisor in that big store. I stood waiting for a long time before she arrived, in the mean the two managers who was at the managers platform just next to the till I was paying was sitting on their cellphones, not one of them offered to help, they rather sat there laughing about the situation, obviously not knowing what to do. This is not acceptable for a store manager!!!! I would like an explanation from head office about this wrong pricing and charging customers incorret prices, don't even let the store manager called Hyrum or Hyron, tallish guy phone me. Defy has got the worst customer service. I have never experienced service like this before. I bought a Defy washing machine and tumble drier cash. After a couple of months the washing machine started giving problems as well as the tumble drier, the drier take forever to dry and makes a hell of a noise. a Technician was sent out only to tell me that there is nothing wrong with the machine or tumble drier. needless to say this technician is not working for Defy anymore. About two to three months ago my washing machine started leaking water from underneath, and 3 weeks ago the machine did not stop pumping water in, the water pumped in through the entire cycle. I then started phoning around to see if the machine is still under guarentee. Kloppers where I bought the machine was unable to help me, Defy service department told me it is not under guarentee anymore, after one of the other consultants told me it is still under guarentee, so the staff do not even know what they are doing. After having a very rude lady from Kloppers answering the phone when I wanted to book a technician an telling me the machine is not under guarentee anymore, I booked the call myself with Defy. The technician came out without making an appointment, after I asked them that they need to make an appointment with me as I am working. He then told me the pc board must be replaced and the rubber around the door. just over a week after he came out I still have not heard anything from him, so I sent him a message to check when the parts will come. He did read my message and never replied, well I suppose you can expect that from Defy. I then emailed a complained through, and the lady asked for my telephone number, which I did sent to her immediately. After a few days I had no call from her, so I emailed her again, she the told me that there is no stock of the pc board in the country. So I said that is not my problem surely they must replace the machine then, well typical Defy now she is ignoring me. I then phoned Defy Head Office again and spoke to Nomza who promised to get back to me, still no word from her as well. Disgusting service!!!!
Ok so I logged a complaint with vodacom on hellopeter two days ago. Vodacom promised to phone me back in connection with my complaint. Well as I should have known I still have not received the phonecall. They also sugested I send an email, which I did with no response. Just another example of how poor their service is!!!
