RMB is anything but a private bank. My experience continues to deteriorate. - Unreachable private bankers - Poor communications - Blocking accounts for no reason - Diminishing benefits and VAS. - Zero innovation. RMB is basically a really expensive reskinning of FNB - their app is literally the same with a new color palette. I have different bankers every week - who are rarely reachable. I no longer have access to the Slow Lounge. They did not attempt to contact me before blocking an account of mine for a reason I still do not understand. At this point, I am only maintaining my account with RMB to preserve the rates I have on my home loan. I have migrated all of my business over to Discovery Bank. As soon as they offer a home loan product I will end my 20-year relationship with FNB/RMB - happily.
Shocking experience from day one! - Onerous and inefficient client onboarding - 3 months to get a line up and running - Slow and ineffective support process - Failure to provide a support resolution - Deferring responsibility to line providers - Expecting the customer to buy a R1000+ piece of hardware to perform tests and self-diagnosis - with no guarantees of a resolution - Failure to deliver on contractual obligations for line speed and performance
20+ years as a client and my membership is automatically withdrawn without fair notice or adequate communication around transferring my membership from my employer back into my individual capacity. To make matters worse Discovery wants me to pay R6000+ to reinstate my account. This is criminal!! I am shocked that this is how a long-term client is treated!!
Tax Consulting South Africa has deteriorated significantly over the years, having haemorrhaged all of their good staff due to a shocking work environment. What's left is a small team who are unqualified and ill-equipped to provide the most basic of tax related services. Not only should you expect a shocking customer experience, but be aware that your tax matters are at risk of mismanagement which will result in loss of your tax compliance status along with hefty penalties from SARS. In the last year I have had to deal with several new consultants with no handover and account continuity, an ongoing barrage of invoices for incomplete work, total mismanagement of my tax affairs, threats from TCSA management, shocking advisory, zero accountability and horrific communication. Jerry Botha, the lead partner, has threatened to discredit work done on my account this tax season with SARS - unless an account for unfinished work is settled. In my opinion this is criminal and should result in legal action. Make sure you filter all reviews to those from the last year (focused on their consumer business) - you will notice a sudden change in sentiment to this organisation. DO NOT USE TCSA!! One star is generous.
Cell C is a criminal enterprise!!!! They make it virtually impossible to cancel your contracts. The company is haemorrhaging customers so fast that they have to stoop to this level. Hope customers will give up trying to cancel their contract. I would rather die than spend another month with this pathetic company!
I have been a loyal Vape king customer for several years - having spent thousands of rands in their stores. I bought a bunch of products last week that proved to be defective - first time I have returned a product. Vape King would not let me return or replace the products sighting their policy on disposable devices. The staff became abrasive and rude as I insisted they provide a refund or replacement. I will NEVER spend another sent at Vape King following this experience. They deliberately concealed the the poor QA of this range and are happy to sell defective products to their loyal customers. This is criminal!!! I've seen an overall decline in the quality of Vape Kings products and service over the years as their business has grown. There are now numerous boutique vape stores that pride themselves on quality products and service - this is where I will take my business from now on and I encourage others to do the same. There anti competitive behaviour is also becoming an issue - with the sales team forcing customers to buy low-quality and overpriced Vape King branded products over the competition. BE AWARE brands
Cell C has stooped to a new low - making it virtually impossible to cancel your contract. The only channel available is the hostile and aloof call centre who go out of their way to make the process as complex and onerous as possible. I have been trying to cancel my contract for over a month with no success.
