Red flag
Believe the 1 star reviews. I just recently had a pathetic interview process with Tax Consulting South Africa, for their professional partner network division. I went for 3 interviews with these people, from my experience from just these interviews, the senior management are quite obnoxious, rude and think very highly of themselves, these senior managers were busy on their phones during the interview and had one of them refer to themselves as having big *** energy as he calls it. It's evident they did not get thought manners growing up. This already will give you an indication of a red flag company to both work with and for. The company tried to offer me a test run on a independent contract working for them, they mentioned bonuses bi annual, however from what I can see from previous reviews it's a retention bonus you would need to pay back if you leave the company. When asked Mr BDE about the bonuses, I was told he would pay me whatever he feels like, which is quite pathetic.

This review is for the companies with the domains taxconsulting.co.za and financialemigration.co.za. I app**** with them two months ago to start my financial emigration process. The first step was an audit of my SARS account to ensure compliance before submitting my application to cease tax residency. After making the initial payment, I waited a full month without any progress. I had to email them to prompt action, only to receive a form to link my SARS account to theirs. After completing this, another two weeks passed with no further updates. Frustrated, I requested a refund. They apologised, promised a timeline, and connected me with another tax specialist. I completed the form again, but another week went by with no results. Feeling stressed, I requested a refund once more. This time, they quickly responded, stating that the audit was in QA. I strongly discourage anyone from using their services. They delay at every step, and only when you ask for a refund do they suddenly claim significant progress.

Abusive interview : Tax Consulting
I do my message is read about the interview process at Tax Consulting, 17 Eaton Road , Brynston. 27th March 2024, the interviewer Miss. Ralitza Pillay was the interviewer representative of the company. She was extremely unprofessional, and disrespectful from the beginning of the interview process. She verbally attacked me with regard’s to my abilities and content of my cv. Throughout the interview process she was insulting and condescending about my grammar and skills. She also attacked my youthful experience and said I'm not fit for the job even though she was aware of my age. I do hope that the executive team of the company will take note of this feedback and call miss Pillay to order so that no any new applicants do not suffer the same abuse that i have suffered and have been humiliated today.

Your Tax Affairs Are At Risk With Tax Consulting South Africa
Tax Consulting South Africa has deteriorated significantly over the years, having haemorrhaged all of their good staff due to a shocking work environment. What's left is a small team who are unqualified and ill-equipped to provide the most basic of tax related services. Not only should you expect a shocking customer experience, but be aware that your tax matters are at risk of mismanagement which will result in loss of your tax compliance status along with hefty penalties from SARS. In the last year I have had to deal with several new consultants with no handover and account continuity, an ongoing barrage of invoices for incomplete work, total mismanagement of my tax affairs, threats from TCSA management, shocking advisory, zero accountability and horrific communication. Jerry Botha, the lead partner, has threatened to discredit work done on my account this tax season with SARS - unless an account for unfinished work is settled. In my opinion this is criminal and should result in legal action. Make sure you filter all reviews to those from the last year (focused on their consumer business) - you will notice a sudden change in sentiment to this organisation. DO NOT USE TCSA!! One star is generous.

Friends take note, South African expatriates should not only understand the newly implemented 2021/2022 tax laws, which aims at taxing your foreign employment income package on many levels, and you must avoid its dire consequences if not done correctly.
