My fibre keeps losing connection 10 times a day disconnects and connects after 2 sec. my wife works from home and every time this happens she needs to re-connect to her work server and redo everything she just lost. I am not happy I cancelled 2 weeks ago and they phoned me to try and keep me as a customer. I was promised this will be sorted 2 weeks later and nothing was done. so today 05/04/2021 for the 5th time in a month I'm contacting Afrihost regarding slow speeds. I have a 1000mbps line and at the moment I'm not even getting 30meg. so the person on the line askes if I have a pc to do some test, and I replied no as my laptop is at my office (1stly I'm paying R1300 a month why must I do the test from my side since I've been with Afrihost I've maybe done a 100 test surely you should come to the conclusion 9 out of 10 times the problem is with you). so the person on WhatsApp tells me I must first get a computer or laptop to do the test. my answer to you Rethabile M is are you tripping? then I was told my router won't be able to supply more than 300mbps... are you tripping The dir-825 that was supplied by Afrihost is an ac1200 gigabit router 5g speed 867mbps so Mr. Gain Ceo of Afrihost please respond regarding your wonderful staff, that don't even know what you supply your customers, or how to fix a problem, and the way they speak or there clever remarks to customers,. awesome ... awesome service really awesome !!
