Melanie and her team change lives for the better! We had such an amazing experience with Duster Dollies when we contacted them for a deep clean in January 2023. From Jessica who assisted with the booking right through to the end - it was just absolutely amazing. I did not expect them to clean as thoroughly as they did and am sure that they went beyond of what I asked. That house was immaculate by the time they left, and let me be clear - they started at 8am and finished well after 4pm, and this townhouse is not a mansion as one would expect for those hours of cleaning. They touched so many lives on this day. Melanie, Grace, Sinqobile and Leah, we will never be able to thank you enough! You were such a pleasure to have around, always smiling and making us feel comfortable even though we might have been in your way. May you stay blessed. You are one amazing team! Best regard, N
Wow where do I start. We struggled with a simple windscreen claim from 7 December 2021 which their service provider kept on moving the installation dates up to 2 months further. After numerous follow up on our side we decided to rather have the claim paid out and cancel the policy all together. You can't get a hold of iWyze. They keep you holding on line for hours on end and sometimes cut you off as soon as someone eventually answers. They do not respond to emails neither 'please call me back'. I tried so many times on all avenues mentioned on their website and app. Now they deducted a premium and promised to pay me back within 2-3 working days, I'm still waiting. They seem to be quick in making promises in the hopes that you will give up trying to contact them as it is really such a mission. This company will never see my name on any of their policies again, there is just no excuse for this level of service.
I am very impressed with the level of service I get from King Price. Just spoke to Legaiyenn Morris, he answered my call in less than a minute, was on top of everything, and assisted in a matter of seconds. So far so good, thank you Legaiyenn Morris!!!
We used Duramaster to install canvas on our patio - 2 sides at first. Shortly after we closed of the 3rd section in 2018. Mark was exceptional at selling his product as per previous installation and as they claim to have a 5 year guarantee on canvas and clear pvc we made use of the offer (even though they were not the cheapest by far). Shortly after this installation the clear pvc started changing to a yellowish colour. We wrote it off to maybe that side being in full sun most of the day - no questions asked. My bad...... In November 2020 I noticed what looked like plastic on the outside of the patio. As I started to investigate I saw a whole in the pvc. I phoned Mark and asked for a replacement quote as he informed me that the insurance should cover the damage. They off course do not as they reckon it is due to perishing....which falls well into the so called warranty offered by Duramaster. So, when I asked Mark about it he was looking for all sorts of excuses i.e lawnmower striking rocks (in fact this area walks out onto a deck....no lawn near). I found his replies to me condescending and arrogant. What bothers me most is that he did not even bother to come look at his product that he so boldly selled in 2018 and possible causes for the damage. In fact, I never heard from him again after questioning the quality of the pvc they installed. Strange that none of the other windows which was in fact installed before this one shows discoloration. Be very careful as all is not what it seems when it comes to Duramaster's guarantee......
We had a similar experience with Renier Maritz / Renandi. We asked that he take off existing louvres and replace it with something that 1. does not leak, 2. does not rattle, 3. not see dirt on the roof and 4. paint all beams etc white. None of this was done. He was so pedantic on lifting the structure that there is now no downflow of water, hence it constantly leaks on my patio, furniture and canvas. The roof rattles, dirt is all over as it is stuck where the roof already dropped one week after completion and the paintwork is atrocious to say the least. He insisted on poly-carbonated sheets, which I don't think he knows the product well as he seemed just as surprised to see dirt on the roof? He also did not remove the rubble as originally agreed upon, but as he got here with a little car I though we might as well be kind and get rid of the steel ourselves. It took them a week to put 5 sheets on, he was back a week later (on a Saturday) as we complained of leaks in November. He then suggested to use some of the s**** metal lying around to fix the roof! Thats when alarms went off and we realised he probably does not know how to fix the roof. Then he suggested a contact of his spray the roof (I assume with something similar to rubberising) to prevent us from seeing the dirt, but we will have to get this done every odd year....maintenance? So again we were kind and asked him to rather take December, work on a plan and come fix the roof properly on 12 January.....so he had almost 2 months grace. 12 Dec he sent a whatsapp to say he will fix the roof on or before Jan 12th. On 8 Jan we tried to contact him via whatsapp and facebook to confirm but no response although he did read the whatsapp. Eventually I phoned him on Fri the 11th and he was 'surprised' that we made an appointment as he did not realise 12 Jan is a Saturday? He does not work on Saturdays, after he confirmed on the day in Nov as well as 12 Des. When he had no other excuse he came up with a story that he had no tools or staff to assist him, but he can come have a look the next Saturday?? We are taking civil action against him as there is no way I am letting go of R11000 for a hot mess. We will also make sure as many people as possible will know about this shocking workmanship and poor client service.
Check your quotation as they add unnecessary repairs when doing a COC quotation. Although they did the repairs after I questioned an item on the quote (which they removed) the admin is terrible and customer service is non-existing. COC was not filled in completely - I had to add the address and to this day don't have details of the electrician (also needed on the certificate), payment was demanded before they released the COC, which I actual should have withheld until the paper work was sorted and correct. This was really not a pleasant experience, I will not recommend this company.
For 11 days (and counting) I have been trying to get Axxess to fix my Fibre line with no success. I have been phoning on a daily basis and everytime I get the same answer: We will escalate the problem to Openserve. No feedback, no service....nothing to date? The latest is that there is a cabling problem so they can not assist over the phone. Every day we have to go through the same process of explaining the problem, then they reset my line and in the end explain that they can not fix it = hours on the phone at my account. I have not been able to connect to either router or modem via Wifi or laptop? There is just no effort in making my situation a priority. So either the problem is with Telkom (Openserve) or with Axxess?? Either way the service is non-existing! I would advise anybody to rather seek a different service provider.......
I bought 2 Tomtom Cardio watches at this store about 2 years ago. During last week I phoned the store inquiring about a replacement strap for one of the watches when I was told they can order one for me but we need to check the serial number. So, full of hope I entered the store on Saturday, the so called Tomtom 'guru' was called to assist. When I asked about a replacement strap I was informed that these particular watches was discontinued 4 years ago (?) and no straps available..... They won't be able to order from anywhere either. No attempts what so ever, then why sell the product if there is no after service? So I headed to Centurion Mall and low and behold - Vincent from Centurion Branch phoned me back within an hour and managed to order me a replacement strap....... No word about the so called discontinued watch. Moral of the story - Brooklyn branch is too lazy to attempt to assist. Rather drive the extra mile to Centurion Mall - worth it!
