I spent 2+ hours on Friday at Absa Queenswood to try and cancel the sms notifications I received from Absa, as I'm being billed for them. After numerous phone calls Maggie cancelled the "Notify Me" service and I left only to receive a SMS from my daughter's MegaU account which I will probably be billed for again. I can't go back to the bank for another 2+hours as I'm working full time. I tried phoning the bank to request assistance as Customer Care said they can not assist me and I have to go back to the bank. I've now tried phoning the branch and I've been holding for 20 minutes without speaking to ANYBODY when the line cut off. I find this unacceptable as I've been to the branch, I've contacted Customer Care and I can not spend hours on the phone! What's going on Absa? Branches are closing, Service is exceptionally slow and it's impossible to get issues resolved!!!
I've recently joined Santam and already regret moving over. Struggling to get Santam to take their money, uploading pictures time after time, receiving confirmation pics were received and in order, just to receive another mail 2 days later requesting pics again, etc, etc . I've sent numerous mails requesting to be contacted and I've forwarded complaints twice - NO RESPONSE!!!! I CANT IMAGINE THE STRUGGLE SHOULD I HAVE TO CLAIM IN FUTURE!!!
Very disappointing and unprofessional service I had an extremely unpleasant experience with MFC on 8 January 2026 at approximately 12:22 when I called to change my delivery address after settling my vehicle loan. The call quality was poor, but instead of being patient or professional, the consultant (a lady whose name I unfortunately did not get) was rude, irritated, and clearly unwilling to assist. When I calmly pointed out that I did not appreciate her attitude, she cut the call without any attempt to resolve the issue. This level of disrespect is unacceptable, especially for a paying customer. What makes this experience even more disappointing is that I have financed three vehicles through MFC in the past three years, yet this is the treatment I received. There was no professionalism, no customer care, and no accountability. This interaction has seriously damaged my trust in MFC’s customer service standards. Customers should not be spoken to rudely or dismissed when raising legitimate concerns. Very unprofessional!
Great, fast service and the product I received was exactly as the photos and description in the ad.
I phoned three days ago to request tariffs for 2026 as my in-laws are interested in moving to Medshield. I was assured that a consultant would phone me back same day. Three days later I'm still waiting to be contacted:(. Maybe its a sign to just stay away as clients are clearly not important here.
I've phoned 3 times requesting membership plans and tariffs for next year. Every time I'm being assured it will be e-mailed to me, but I'm still waiting. If it's this difficult to get information to join, how difficult will it be to claim???
My husband was admitted to hospital two years ago with a PMB condition. All the medical bills were paid, but two years later Sizwe is reversing some of the payments without any explanation. Strangely enough the reversing of payments started after we left Sizwe to join another medical aid. This is very ********* and after numerous phone calls to Sizwe we are still none the wiser about why payments are being reversed. Shocking service after being clients more than 10 years!!!
I have a funeral policy with Hollard (previously through Edgar's). I have some questions regarding this police and requested a call back through their website. I'm still waiting. Can you only imagine the service you will receive should you need to claim :(

Ive made several purchases from Shein using my Premium Credit Card. Now suddenly in being charged R20 for international purchases although the amount was charged in ZAR. Why am I now being charged International Purchase fees, where this was never done before??
