Good day, Virgin Atlantic has refunded my B-class air ticket (R44,000), and much quicker than the 10-15 weeks indicated by you (they did so within a week!). Given that Virgin Atlantic provided me a full refund for their canceled flight, I'd like to understand the basis of you indicating that my R3,937.56 is non-refundable. This amount was paid to you as a "change of date" add-on option attached to the flight that was canceled. Given that Travelstart is also unable to provide this service (due to the canceled flight), on what basis are you withholding my money? You haven't provided a service (or incurred a non-refundable cost related to the air ticket that I purchased), so I'd like to understand the basis of you designating monies paid to you by me as non-refundable?
Please contact me soonest, as I'd like to give you another opportunity to fix the existing problem before going public with the issue; it seems like the fair and responsible thing to do. I have engaged with your customer service agents on WhatsApp chat multiple times over the past two days, but am not advancing toward resolution. I'm not sure if Discovery Insure is aware of how its brand is being tarnished by M-sure, but we will do our best to bring it to the Discovery Insure CEO's attention. We secured a Vehicle Warranty insurance policy underwritten by Discovery Insure, but apparently administered by M-sure. We filed a claim with Discovery Insure to replace the turbo in our Mercedes Benz and have been frustrated at every step with their administrator M-sure, who has even gone as far as to request that Mercedes Benz put a "refurbished" or "reconditioned" turbo into our car. To Mercedes' credit, they instructed M-sure that "Mercedes does not fit reconditioned turbos into its cars". Consumers and prospective corporate partners should beware of engaging with this company. We will alert Discovery Insure to our experience.
Every since I went to the Mall of Africa, my credit card continues to be debited despite the fact that I haven't parked there. No response from support yet.
