UMhlanga top restaurant
Excellent lunch. Three of us chose the lunch time special which includes a drink and is very good value. The other diner had two starters from the a la carte menu and they were really top quality no main course being necessary.

IPad fails after 18 months.
My ipad screen went black after 18 months. IStore said Apple do not keep spares in RSA so I would need a complete motherboard at cost overR11000. I complained to iStore but got nowhere. Eventually after an attempt at the Small Claims Court iStore offered R5000 credit but as it was subject to a Non Disclosure Agreement I declined. So many hours wasted and still no compensation. I am very unhappy.

Dstv sound shocking
I had my first movie rental(free) of Oppenheimer. The sound quality was so bad that my wife and I gave up . I complained some time ago on hellopeter and dstv responded rapidly and promised to look into my problem. Since then a deep silence.

iStore let me down.
A few weeks ago I complained about iStore and Multichoice on the same day. The response from Multichoice was brilliant and problem solved immediately. However there has been no response from iStore. Dear iStore , this problem is not going to disappear. I will do everything necessary to be fairly compensated by you the supplier of my failed iPad.

iPad repair shock.
iPad screen suddenly went black on my R18599 iPad after 18 months.I was told by iStore that they do not have spares so a complete motherboard would be required at cost R12908. This seemed unreasonable to me but iStore just referred me to Apple. I opened a case with Durban small claims court but was told it was the wrong court and I would have to restart again in Verulam. In the meantime the attorneys for iStore offered R5000 which I rejected. I believe that on purchasing the iPad I should have been told that if it failed there was a probability of high costs to repair it. Perhaps due to lack of spares in RSA? So now I am building up my strength to start the legal process again with small claims court Verulam.I have used this court before to get compensation from one of the cell phone companies and ended up with 50% more than my original claim so I am a fan of this court.

DStv chops end off programme.
Recorded programmes are frequently a problem for me because DStv does not record right to the end cutting off before the end. This can spoil an entire programme……

Drivers allowed to cancel rides.
A Bolt driver cancelled the ride after it had been accepted by Bolt. I was going to a special event so had to drive myself. Very disappointing Why do Bolt accept if they allow drivers to cancel? It was a short distance if a few kilometers in UMhlanga.

Driver cancels ride.
I use Uber frequently but was very disappointed when two rides were cancelled by the drivers . I was going to a special event at Oyster Box so ended up driving my own car and not drinking. Why do Uber accept rides then allow drivers to cancel? The distance was short in UMhlanga.
