Brooks and Luyt Attorneys are constantly harrassing me (and lately my wife as well) regarding an "outstanding amount" on my "FNB Premier Account". 1. I have no outstanding amount. 2. The messages threaten me with blacklisting if I don't pay promptly, or tell me that my credit rating was negatively affected by my non-payment. 3. The SMS's often give the option to reply "Yes" for a callback, which I did many times. I have not received a single call from them. 4. Each time I phone them they confirm that there is no outstanding amount, and they even cinfirmed my phone number to ensure that I would be removed from the database, but now my wife receive threatening SMS's from them. "PAYMENT NOT RECEIVED. Final reminder that if your FNB PREMIER payment is not made by close of business today to FNB Acc No: 62239202667 Ref: 12524717, we will prepare your file to proceed with further action. Brooks and Luyt Inc. Tel: 011 5439065 or Reply Yes for a callback. Ref: 12524717"
Wendy Metsing was professional, friendy and efficient. My policy was updated promptly.
I purchased a cheap plane ticket using a free two week window on EDreamsPrime. Cancellation is free in the two week window, and after that you automatically enter into a 12 month contract @ R229/month. Using the card details you used to make the cheap purchase... And then you get the surprize. You cannot cancel! The ONLY WAY to cancel is telephonically. The friendly voice of a chatbot acknowledges that you need to speak to a human, and then transfer you to a line that just never get answered. You are treated to ads of the wonderful benefits you get from EDreamsPrime, but never reach the elusive human who could cancel your membership. Oops... R229 each month for the next 12 months? If you are lucky you reach someone who could help you cancel in that time - otherwise it renews for another 12 months... BEWARE! Lòok at the reviews - there are many of us that were caught in this scheme...
My monthly premium automatically reduces regularly (yes, I did not claim yet), and the service from their agents is professional, friendly and efficient. My last experience with agent Keneilwe Phaho was very good once more!
My 82-year old mother-in-law asked me to look into her Vodacom bill that seems to be quite high - despite us assisting her during the lockdown period to change her subscription and terminate the payment for my deceased father-in-law (which she paid unknowingly for two years after his death). A friendly assistant looked at her cellphone usage, and helped her migrate to a cheaper package - giving her just over double her usual minutes used per month. BUT: She constantly paid more than expected for her contract. Her invoice states nothing about minutes used (hiding the more than 200 unused minutes and 390 unused sms's that she pays for in her contract) - and she also pays R217 for "Add to Bill - Other". That turned out to be a "subscription" for "PM Connect - Xfitness". She has no knowledge of, and zero interest in, Xfitness - but it cost her at least R1500 already (I cannot determine when the subscription started).
Wonderful and professional service from Ramasela, who assisted me with lots of patience.
