Nothing has changed since my last review, and it's now the afternoon of Tuesday 21 Jan. A call, an email or 2, no result. Here is my last review: I have been unable to view DStv for a week (Sat 11 Jan- Fri 17 Jan) so far, despite reporting my issue, which is that I am unable to log in to my account - and therefore unable to watch any DStv programmes. This is despite a phone call, the (useless) WhatsApp number and several emails.

Colour me impressed! This was my first claim with Momentum and it was very professionally handled by Stacey-Leigh Goliath-Yarde.
I bought a 70 gram packet of "sugar free" buttermint candy with cocoa filling. Very tasty. I look at the back of the packet and see that they are as fattening (1215kj per 100g) as ordinary sweets. Upon reading the ingredients, I see that the colourant is caramelised sugar. Wow! Really? That could be dangerous to some people. How very misleading and irresponsible.
I have been an Elitehost client for a while now and, apart from their pricing being, by some margin, the cheapest, their support is uncommonly quick and efficient. My website was not secure it seemed, with an intermittent issue when clicking on it (I was hacked - part of a global AnyDesk breach in January). I emailed support on a Thursday night and within 15 minutes Shuaib Davids rep****. He had found a a file in File Manager called RansomWeb.php, removed it, tested the SSL certificate and instructed me to clear my browsing cache. Colour me impressed!
I can't believe that Cell C can't resolve my issues- the exact same issues I had a week ago (which Cell C responded to and apparently sorted out). I can't make any calls (account balance is low, recharge) despite having over 400 minutes. I am also apparently due for an upgrade, although I recently upgraded. Explaining to a customer care agent gets me nowhere. Shocking!
A Cell C customer for decades, I am bitterly disappointed with the service I have seen during a contract upgrade , and what has happened since. Upgrade information that was emailed to me was incorrect, according to one of the many agents I spoke to in the past week. Now I cannot make calls although I have 426 minutes of calls available, and I cannot use the SSD code services either (service barred). 4 calls to customer care on a Saturday morning, with 1 call transferred to cancellations- and nothing will (according to the agents) be done until Tuesday. Goodness knows what ****-ups will follow with the cancellation! Wholly inadequate resolution systems.
I echo another happy client who said that short term insurance is not about selling policies, but about ho w well claims are handled- and here Santam is well clear of the rest of the field. I really appreciate the service provided by Felicia Toll in settling my claim. She was patient and understanding - at a time when insurers are (pun intended) flooded.
Another claim settled by Santam with efficiency and understanding. Very happy with Santam's service agent, Roxy Claasen!
What a useless bunch! I did not receive my parcel on the date it was out for delivery because the driver could not locate my address. Granted, the delivery address (provided by Edgars) was not complete. However, I called the couriers and they have my telephone number, but the driver did not call me. They said they would call me back, They did not. Next morning I get a notification that the parcel is out for delivery. I correct the address on their system. Then, I call and they correct the address too- and tell me that when the address is changed the delivery is cancelled, so the parcel will be delivered the next day (3rd day). Yes, the driver was supposed to call me. They don't know why he did not. I attempt to reason that the parcel is out for delivery already, so why cancel. That's the rules. I say, what about the rule that the driver is supposed to call me? They put the phone down. Numbskulls.
