You need to watch out for businesses that sell though Amazon. You also need to be VERY careful when you transact through Amazon with these businesses. My most recent experience was horrible. The product advertised was a high-quality branded item. What I was sent was a cheap knock-off, NOT the one described in detail and name-branded on Amazon. When I tried to set up a return, I was informed that I would have to pay the delivery costs.

I am a first time customer of this business. Here is my experience. Judge for yourself: (1) They went instantly into "radio silence" when I paid them, and did not respond to my polite email query about the reasons for the delay in my delivery; (2) They left out the crucial 2nd line of my delivery address, resulting in needless hassles and multiple phone calls with the courier company; (3) They short delivered my order, which arrived missing 20% of the contents I have paid for; and (4) They are now not responding to my emails about the missing goods.

My GPU (Nvidia Quadro P400) failed after working flawlessly for 10 months. The Wootware after-sales support was excellent, and they honoured the warranty. In the end they offered me a refund, credit note, or replacement. I would definitely recommend this business for peace of mind online shopping.
I have shopped here twice now, a small order last year and again last week for an expensive 4K PC monitor. They require EFT in advance (no sign of a credit card option for my purchase last week), but both times my goods were delivered in good time and in good order. It seems to me that you can shop here with confidence. The only suggestion I would have (and why I gave 4 stars not 5) is for them to improve the frequency and timeliness of emailed status updates (eg about whether or not they have received your payment). Other businesses using this payment system seem to recognise that it inherently makes the customer nervous, and reassurance is always a good thing.
This is a good online business. Even though they won't take credit cards and require EFT in advance, I have always received my purchased goods in good time and good order, with reassuring emailed status updates along the way. They also take a lot of care in packing your fragile electronic items in strong boxes with plenty of bubble wrap. Highly recommended.
Hmm, I see this business has reviews at 5* and 1* with not much in between. Very polarising, so it's time for me to make a contribution. It is my personal experience that shopping here is safe, and you will most likely get very fast delivery of exactly the products you ordered, in nice high quality packing. These people clearly care about their business, which means they care about their customers, and it shows. Keep up the good work.
Highly recommended for customer service, speedy delivery, and attention to detail (order an extra fine nib, and you WILL get exactly that). Their product line up is very high quality and fairly priced. Try a Lamy pen and some Rhodia paper - you will probably be really happy with the results.
Avoid this business. They will take your money for items that they do not have in stock and will not be able to deliver to you. They will not tell you this fact, and will not warn you in advance of the situation. When you query non-delivery, they will not respond to your emails. When you phone them, they will promise to refund you and then break that promise. All of these have just happened to me for a R1,150 order which I am now going to report to my credit card company as a fraudulent transaction.
