I've spent over 3 hours today, going back and forth, been passed over from department to department, calls dropping and being told to call the other department, only to have that department tell me to call the other departments who forwarded me to them. Their email/online help/tobi/chat mechanic is so terrible, getting a actual human to help is impossible, leading you to call one of their dozen 082 numbers to get into a infinite loop of, "I can't do that, but xyz can". Then you either get re-directed or told to call another 082/department. All I want is the dam Sales invoice for the new contract done 3 months ago.
Been trying to register as a business with Takealot for almost 3 months now, emails back and forth and constant requests for updates without success. Hoping pushing it here as well will actually get someone to update me on this.
Been trying to register/verify my account for nearly two months now. Still no luck and looking at the HP reviews it was probably a good thing. Getting a hold of anyone is near impossible, secondly they all share the same email account so merely replying back means it gets thrown into a shared inbox/ticket system to get lost. Every time I have gotten a reply via email and only email, from a different person every time, of which 2/3 of them don't even bother reading the previous replies in the email, asking the same questions again.
Chinese sellers use them to stack costs on buyers with Landslide and grouping charges. In their own words, by law you must be aware of such costs, and if you didn't know, oh well mentality. Even if either party are breaking the law, they don't care.
Make sure when you are ordering, you actually get what you ordered and not a Chinese knockoff. Also after editing your reviews on their site as I did to reply, it auto bumps it to a 5 star and you can no longer re-edit the rating. ----------rating on page + replies------------ They sent a cheaper unknown Chinese brand with a piece of paper stating "Please note: This battery is a genuine Securi-prod 7ah Lithium Iron Phosphate batter. Due to high demand and limited time, it was not branded as usual". The specs between the a genuine Securi-prod BA50-1 and this "RBA50-1", are not the same, completely different charge and discharge rates. And changing the specs after I order on the website doesn't help your case either. Well lets see what happens when I connect 2 originals with these 2 in parallel and charge it with their "GW-P-800W Inverter + Charger" which charges at 6A. ---mail trail---- GEEWIZ:2023/03/08 10:24 I have been advised by our technical team that the unit you initially ordered is no longer available and it has been replaced with what you received. On the older "branded" / "SECURI-PROD 7AH LIFEP04" has a 5A charge rage. And both have a different discharge rate. So the warehouse team can confirm these are identical batteries, even though both have different specs printed on them? And do they realize I'm connecting 4 of them in parrel, 2 being the branded and now 2 unbranded? --------reply to Shop owner reply on 09 March 2023---------- The fact you say the "new black batteries" are identical specifications to the green ones, but are printed incorrectly on them, yet you use those new specifications in the description is contradictive in itself. Also saying it is not for UPS use now after gutting the description for drop in UPS replacement, you still missed the one original reference under features "- Suitable SLA Replacement – Gate Motor, Energizer, Alarm System, UPS, etc" -------Shop owner reply on 09 March 2023----- PLEASE NOTE that the current battery we ship for this item comes in a black colour(not green as per the picture) but has identical specs to the original unit. The specs printed on the new black unit are incorrect but the specifications are identical to the specs listed above.
Since HelloPeter has removed my report twice now and hasn't bothered dealing with Manicaa boosting their rating with bots (usually single names and identical reviews with 1 review under the account on the same day of registration) I am only posting an update to the police case which we have opened, as well open cases against them through multiple fraud firms. Several months of excuses of no delivery, tracking number, updates and then a oopsie we didn't even order it, now no update since the request for a refund. They have 2 days until a case is opened up by the police station. Order No: #000075473
No update, no tracking number, no product and no refund. Don't buy from them, they are worse than a back allay business selling out from a garage. Heading for 3 months now on order #000075473. After requesting for updates several times and getting no response beside the initial "Please note that orders typically take between 10 – 25/30 business days ". I have requested a refund, but of course no response again. Its time to start getting everyone with complaints against the company for a class action.
Been a member for over 10 years, across multiple branches. Only issues I really had was them double charging sometimes and never reimbursing unless you enquire about it and the inability to actually setup a debit order. I had to manually pay for over a year, which was a blessing on their part since they couldn't steal 6 months of "non existent" membership. When I cancelled my month to month membership just after Covid hit, first attempt was on site, they said everything was sorted. Come the second month, again they attempt to charge my account. So I had to come in and sit down with them on site at their offices to sort it out. Nothing was done nor logged, which seems to be a on going theme. (take note, force them to get a reference number) So I drive in again the 3rd month asking reception what is going on, they go oh nono I must phone the support line and get it sorted. Between 20+ back and forth calls, dozens of emails and another 3 months, they finally manage to cancel my contract but I now they except me to pay 6 months of fees. I told them they can get bent if they expect my to pay 6 months of no service and the inability to cancel an account on their part. A few months latter I get a arb call from their support saying, am I going to pay? I say of course not as stated above, why would I pay for their inability to cancel account while no service rendered? He "hands" over my account. Over a course of 2 years+ now I got 3-6 debt collector companies calling me and the amount is 5x the original. Each time I explain to them, they either laugh and agree or no longer attempt to recover the funds. I was rather surprised I got a call from another one after 8 months of nothing, so I decided I'm not going to be passive about this anymore. Should of just been an asshole from the start and spammed Hello Peter and public/social media forums to make sure R10K+ compounding revenue is lost every month. Will give them 2 weeks here and if no response will start on my contacts to start recommending they avoid PlanetFitness, nor renew contracts with them. The only reason they got 2 stars instead of 0 is the staff on site are decent human beings. Otherwise could be said for their customer support, and that is putting it lightly. Already got a new contract + gyming at Virgin Active N1, not because they are closer nor have better gym facilities than Plattekloof but on how they treat their customers and the principle of it. If you actually treated your clients decently you might not end up like this. GL, you gonna need it.
It is a scam. Ordered a Macbook Pro screen replacement. After threatening legal and police involvement, they sent the screen only with the tool kit that came with it. Once we get the require tool kit we installed the screen to see the screen that was sent was faulty, with lines all on the right side and a dead zone. The Mac is no longer even powering up now either. Requested a refund but of course no action or response from them. Proceeding with legal action and will get this reported with the police.
