I have informed cartrack to take me of their call list since 2020, when i was in a motor vehicle collision. There is a lot longer story behind this shortened version. I have since then cancelled their service to me. Now I'm receiving automated calls from their call centre. This is bordering on harassment. Please cartrack, I have signed the popi act in order for you not to abuse my rights or for other companies from selling my details to you.

about a week ago I received a letter of cancellation from cartrack. I really thought these people where out of my life. As I previously reported I was involved in a MVC, and received no assistance from their roadside patrols. three weeks later they claim I had a faulty unit that was installed in my vehicle and therefore cannot find my vehicle. Nobody in their right mind can be expected to pay for something that is defective. I went from a speed of 113 to 0km/h in spill seconds with no assistance. even on their system, my vehicles details was capture incorrectly from the beginning and yes I have reported that as well with emails on emails. I therefore refuse to pay for anything further. as I have stated numerous times to the people who keep phoning me. and coming to your accounts department they need to learn telephone manners. The attitude that I am receiving from this company's employees. They treat me worse than a criminal.
On the 11th of May 2021 I was involved in a motor vehicle collision. Now to my knowledge cartrack is suppose to contact you if something like this happens or if they cannot get hold of you the next number on their system to inform a next of kin. this did not happen. I then put it to them that IF they can find my vehicle, which by the way was lying in a ditch next to the road for the past four (4) weeks, i will continue my subscription with them. at first no one phoned me not taking me very serious in very good for business. Since then they claimed that there is a faulty system fitted in my vehicle, two (2) weeks after I informed them that I was in a MVA Now I know they have all my details because once I refused to pay my fees for a service that does not work, they started phoning me. Apon several times I instructed them to cancel my service and that they broke contract with me by default of fitting a unit in my vehicle that subsequently went faulty and the test was not done to establish that. Now they want me to pay for a cancellation fee for services which I'm not willing to do as this is not my fault that they messed up.
