Lesedi Motleleng helped me to activate insurance on a new vehicle, when I was struggling to get hold of the agent who quoted me. He understood the urgency and helped me quickly so that we could take delivery of the vehicle.
What a shocking disregard for their clients and agreements! My wife purchased the extended service plan when she bought the vehicle. This was supposed to include three services. The first two services were paid for by Innovation Group with no issues. Then she wasted 6 hours at the dealership with Innovation Group refusing to pay for the service. At first they claimed that we had the wrong model car on the contract, despite email evidence to the contrary. Then they refused to pay the full amount as they apparently weren't aware that the 90,000 km service was a cambelt service. At finally, after only paying R5000 of the total bill of R8000, they had the nerve to increase our debit order! If this is the way they treat their clients, I would advise their personnel to start looking for other jobs, as this company won't last very long.
Enlighten just sent me shopping vouchers! I have been completing their surveys over the last year or two when I had extra time. Sometimes it is irrigating when I don't qualify for a specific survey that I actually had time to do on the specific day, and sometimes the surveys for financial products are a bit boring (but I always qualify for them for some reason). But the rewards are definitely worth the effort. After not claiming my points for some time, I was surprised to see how much I have accumulated. Thanks to Enlighten, I can now afford to buy some nice food to take with on holiday. The vouchers came through quicker than expected and the whole process went very smoothly.
I used to get such good service from DSV Road, but unfortunately something has changed. On 18 August, I booked a collection in Sasolburg for a parcel going to the Eastern Cape. It is now the 30th and the parcel has still not been collected. I have phoned numerous times and every time I am promised that they will collect on the same day, but it's all just empty promises. I have now eventually booked a collection with DHL instead. #WIN
Since level 4 lockdown was implemented, we decided to support the local small restaurants by ordering take-away food from them during this time. Fournos has a nice selection in "meal-in-a-bag" that you can order and pay online and just collect. It serves four people. We were pleasantly surprised! The food was healthy, freshly and and delicious. There was so much of it that we didn't even eat the bread that came with the order - we were able to save it for lunch the next day. This is definitely good value for money.
Dunmar keeps on taking our money, but do not respond at all to alarms or panics. Apparently their equipment has not been working for months, but we have not been advised of any issues. If you query why they haven't responded, they have all kinds of excuses. They also keep on charging the annual radio license, despite the fact that they haven't renewed their ICASA license since 2016.
