Beware of using Uber in areas where there is poor reception. They will overcharge you! ****my behavior!! Many times I questioned the overcharging and they fixed the charge. However recently they have a message saying that they no longer will consider the case as i reached “the maximum number of complaints”! I reached the maximum number of complaints because of Uber’s inefficiency. My message to all readers…. BEWARE of UBER!!
On the 10 June 2024, I renewed my contract (2 year contract) via their Retention Department. Everything was agreed on a recorded call. Despite that, they have been overcharging me. Phone calls to their customer service department and emails have been FUTILE! What a disaster of a company. Poor poor service.
The Constantia franchise of Vodacom 4U emphatically does not do refunds on cash purchases or credit card purchases in flagrant breach of the Consumer Protection Act. Most amazing. I purchased a cellphone cable (R350) and tried to return the unopened box an hour later only to be told by the staff that they dont do refunds (cash or card). This was confirmed to me by the store manager. Please approach the stores with great care and ask about the terms of conditions before any purchases. Shady operators and non CPA compliant. (the owner of the franchise owns other branches as well)
The sale process is well structured and well conceived. It is a totally paperless process and in theory should run smoothly HOWEVER, it doesn't!!! The Richmond branch in the Western Cape took over 3 hours to sort out the admin, after having all the documentation and payment in advance. It would have taken probably more than 3 hours had I not started throwing the toys out of my cot!! The sales staff apologise and apologise but the back office in charge of the admin are slooow and inefficient. If you buy a car from them take along a tent and a sleeping bag. ((-;
Only one word, PATHETIC! Pathetic service. This online business has no contact details and don't respond to messages. After many messages, the owner informs me that he is overseas and unable to assist in fulfilling my order! AVOID
It is a nightmare dealing with vodacom; i am sure that i am not the first nor the last to have to deal with the poor customer service! The Retention Department agrees to a deal, but do not implement it (mine was on the 10 May 2022). The customer is then left to sort out the vodacom mistake. This means getting shoved from the Retention Department to the Customer Service department and back several times. When you ask to speak to a supervisor, the line just gets put on hold! Atrocious experience!!! Still unresolved!!!
Hello Just a word of caution, if you are currently dealing or intend dealing with Kobus van Schalkwyk from Secure Your Home please be aware of the following… When working on your alarm, he will change the installer codes and in this way no one will be able to access the alarm system. Whilst it is good practice to change the default installer code, not sharing the code with the owner of the home and the alarm system is grossly fraudulent and may even constitute theft. Just be very cautious when dealing with them.
The word ”BAD” does not describe what it is like to deal with this company!!! Simple advice……DO NOT USE them!!!!
Wanted to thank and highlight the excellent service received by Postnet in Constantia Village!! Wow! A parcel was sent to me from the USA using the US Postal Service; everything went well until it reached South African soil!😂 Once in the hands of our post office it disappeared from the computer systems and became untraceable. That is one month ago. Couple weeks ago, I popped into the Postnet in Constantia for advice on what to do and the owner/manager Colin took the problem and using his contacts eventually managed to trace the package. All of this as a favour! During the whole process he kept me informed of proceedings. Thanks, deeply indebted!
Old fashioned company, terribly inefficient! 1. Try track or book a delivery! Their website is old fashioned and not user friendly. The log in is also ancient and you cannot get a password reset unless you phone them!! That would be OK if they answered their phones!!! Cape Town office is particularly sleepy! 2. There is no central call centre, so you must call the office allocated to you, in may case Cape Town. Great if they bothered answering their calls. If you try get help from another branch they get quite stroppy and unhelpful
