We have been trying to take over an existing bank account with ABSA with the acquiring of the new business. All information has been sent through to assist in the change over of the account. It has been more than 2 months, and despite following up weekly from our side, we have to date not received ANYTHING or ANY correspondence from ABSA to assist in the take over of this bank account.
They are friendly. Efficient. Easy to collect from and awesome with delivering to your private residence. Especially true for Wellington
Issues with Standard Bank Due to alleged ***** we had to change signatories. The process was started April 2023. All the new signatories visited the branch. Paperwork was lost. New account manager was appointed and all the signatories visited the branch again October 2023. The paperwork was lost. A new account manager was appointed. Thousands of follow up emails later the signatories was submitted again in June 2024. We are now in a queue and they will try there best to resolve the issue.

Be careful to give Vodacom banking details. Even after four years you will not be able to stop them from taking money from you. I had no idea contracts can continue that long and that their debtors department cannot trace a debit order back to the owner of a cellphone. They will continue to take your money and refuse to stop the debit order on your account even if you explain that you do not have any phones connected to the debit order. They are totally *********** and have no problem taking money from a childrenshome.
Contract expired years ago. Cannot stop Vodacom from deducting payments.
Telkom did our webhosting with our email addresses. So last year around July / August they lost a lot of our emails and we did not know what emails did not reach our clients and we did not know what emails we did not receive. They could not help us so we decided to go to a smaller business that could talk to us. We have been with the new company from August but are still receiving invoices. I phoned Telkom and after one hour and 45 minutes and 4 different people I got a reference number for my query. I followed up 2 weeks later just to hear they cannot help me I have to email hostmaster again. That never goes well but I am emailing them now daily.
