Luggage opened and searched at OR Tabbo Airport (ACSA)
Once again luggage was opened and searched (every zipped bag was opened, this was no quick job) at the OR Tambo Airport. What is worrisome is that the bag was locked with a code, so the baggage handler(s) have access to a TFSA key which will give them free access to locked luggage. Another good reason to avoid the OR Tambo airport as far as possible.

Excellent Europcar Service
After a trip to Bloemfontein I was charged for refuelling although I confirmed that the car was full. Customer Relations communication was smooth and friendly, and the extra charged reimbursed. Thank you very much, this is great service. I hope to use Europcar again soon.

The Best Stellenbosch Steak By Far
Time after time we leave Cattle Baron Stellenbosch impressed by their service, and for the best steaks south of the equator. Even our I-can-braai-better friends never decline an invitation once they know we’re going to Cattle Baron.

Mangaung Metropolitan Financial Mess
Sold a property in Mangaung Metro about 5 years ago, paid a lump sum to cover expected levies and water use in advance and never received the balance. The new owner registered at Mangaung and pays levies on time. Now, 5 years later , I am being harassed by the Hahn debt recovery section for an outstanding water account north of R150,000. Despite the new owner resolving the issue directly with Mangaung, I still receive calls and three SMS messages per week - seems the Mangaung Finance section is in disarray while someone must collect a lot of money for chasing non-existent ¨overdue ¨ accounts.

Great Nissan Team!
Bought a used X-Trail from Bradley at Nissan, Strand about two years back. They replaced everything that wasn’t 100% by default, and even helped when I had questions later. Services across the road were excellent and transparent, even the guys at spares were friendly and helped wherever and wherever they could. Great team all around, thank you!

The tastiest Greek wished outside Hellas? Maybe yes!!!
We did not book (highly recommended, especially over weekends) but were given a table and had a fantastic evening The food was WOW, delightfully prepared and super flavours. We had a second round of Frappe (iced coffee), and the galaktobouriko as desert was the best we’ve tasted outside of Greece! Super service, great atmosphere and a delightful Greek dinner. We’ll be back!

Amazing Service
Estates have the potential to mess up your life - when Veritas came to the rescue we were expecting more of the same, but we received rapid replies to mails, excellent warmhearted service, and professionalism when handling to inevitable challenging bits of winding down an estate. We received amazing service at a time we really needed it. They come highly recommended!

Great spray painting, repair and service in Strand.
After an altercation with a trailer we needed a panel beater, and discovered TSG Auto Services in the Strand who opened recently. The work was done in three days (it was not a big job), and we were given extra paint as well. Mr Bradley Gordon and his team were friendly and professional, the price was excellent, and I can fully recommend them.
