I always buy the teusday kfc special. 6 pieces of chicken for R69 and never had a problem. On Monday it was advertised on tv the special for Tuesday and when i went yesterday 26/03/2024, at kfc at somerset crossing opposite Roots butchery i was told the special was finished. I then went to Macassar KFC after driving all the way from Strand that the special will commence again after easter. So why do false advertising and why advertise for me to go and waste petrol just to be told i cant be helped? So dissapointed
I went to Identity Somerset Mall on the 16th to get my card for my account. There was a long queue, so I came back later. I waited for 20 minutes in the queue. I asked an employee why it was so long just to get a card, but he said I had to wait. I have a leg problem, so I asked my daughter to queue for me. I asked for the manager, but he also said I had to wait. When I finally reached the cashier, they said they were offline. Nobody told me they were offline and I wasted all my time in the store. The manager was rude to me. The service was pathetic!
I waited way too long only to be told an item is out of stock and only when I was enquiring about my order. Also I am still waiting for a refund
I would just like to say a huge thank you to Ian Muller Administrator - Furniture, at the Walton's Woodstock head office. We urgently needed a chair and he went above and beyond to make sure we get the office chair. This is the second time I've had interaction with him and every time excellent service. I'll recommend Walton's any day, to anyone!
I always go to Pep Home store in Somerset West main road and i love that shop, however since March 2023, I"ve been harassed by the security at the door.I know that the security can check your bags if you don't want to hand it in at the parcel counter, but with this security i told him numerous times that i am going in the store with my backpack which contains my work laptop. I also indicate to him he can search my bag when i leave the store. When i leave the store, he decides to open and search my backpack, right in the doorway, where outside onlookers can see that i have a laptop, wallet and other valuables in my backpack. I've asked him as well not to search my bag like that, for my own security reasons, as there are always people loitering outside the store.The weekend before Easter Friday, had the same argument with him, however 2 men in front of me had backpacks on and they were not searched when they left , yet i was. The same thing happened in May and i told the Manager who was from Gordon's Bay about his attitude. She searched my bag and looked through it in one of the aisle. Today the very same thing happened, and i just had a see-through plastic bag with pencils in it. He made a scene and told the teller in Xhosa, whenever i come in the store, i am there to cause problems.I told him that i heard and understand what he said. I explained the situation to the current manager, Zee but i don't think talking to him will help as he keeps harassing me when i go to that store.All the other Pep stores in Somerset West, has the nicest security and they always greet and never have i received the same treatment from them as with the one from Pep home. For a usual customer to be harassed and abused like this to the point that his actions may lead to me one day getting attacked or ****** is unexceptionable!Now i get anxiety and ptsd because of this and enjoying my shopping experience at one of my favorite stores.
For the past 4 weeks, no one has come back nor did the store manager call me wrt my complaints. This was the feedback. I went to pick n pay Somerset west on Wednesday 14th of December and for the first time ever since I've been shopping there experienced the worse customer service ever! I went to go and withdraw my Srd and when we got there outside people were sitting. We got inside and saw three people were sitting there already. The store normally has a specific till (no 4) assigned for srd We stood there for a while and I asked the lady on the bench how long she's been waiting. She said she's been there for a long time and was told there is no money. I asked my husband to go and find the manager and asked what is happening. He got the assistant manager ( who's been sitting there the whole time), and asked her She in return called someone else to asked what is happening. They then proceeded to tell us there is No Money in the store. How is that possible? They have to wait for people to pay and see if they can give money When I pointed out that this has never happened in the past they said we can go to checkers, shoprite or boxer. I always to that specific pick n pay because of the excellent service I get there. After that they decided to open a specific till to handle the srd withdrawal. The people from outside came in and started to complain that they were told to wait outside while others just come in and get there money. When the assistant manager asked them wo, all of them said she did. They called her aunty Debbie. She then responded to them say that if they are going to start a commotion then they can stop. The store doesn't have to make an effort to give money, but if they go on the the store might as well can forget about helping. She then said they can go to till 12 and I stood there thinking I was going to be called to be helped. After standing there and no one saying anything and new people just coming from outside to till 12, I went there and got helped. I was and still is very upset about the appalled service that I got. No one trying to help and just not caring about customer service
Good day My husband and I went to shoprite Macassar today to go and specifically buy the R350 special of the 10kg Rice, sugar and maize meal ( all 10 kg). We got to the store and got the special. When we got at the tillpoint, my husband noticed the the price was wrong and told the cashier that it's suppose to be R350. The cashier immediately started giving him attitude and started arguing that he is wrong and the the special he was referring to has ended. My husband told her no we just came from the corner of the store and it even displays the special, she still argued and insisted he was wrong. During this time the packer that was there also started arguing with my husband, he asked her to please go and check for herself, yet they wouldn't listen. At this point the cashier, Linzay called the controller to come and assist. The controller, Cheryl then came and instead of sending someone to go and check the price , also started arguing with my husband. My husband insisted the packer go with him to check, while they went away, I was still standing at the tillpoint when the controller, Cheryl made the comment "Hy is n Dom donner". I immediately asked her who is a "Dom donner", to which she replied, "he is". The cashier agreed with him and at that moment I told them that's my husband they were talking about. My husband came back with the packer, with the price tag in her hand proving we were right about the price. No one apologized to my husband for insulting and arguing with him the whole time. I was so traumatized about the verbal abusive insult I heard, I was even shaking. How does ShopRite employ people like the controller who is always verbally abusive in the store and infront of customers. I've heard her talking with vulgar language before, this is not the first time. I'm appalled by this behavior of staff. I normally don't just go with my husband to this store and can't imagine if our children was with him and they would hear someone saying their father is a "Dom donner". By looking at my husband's skin colour she chose to be disrespectful, rude and verbally abusive towards my husband. What type of customer service is this?
