Cancelled my device insurance in December 2025, but still get billed and even have a rate increase. BUT NO ONE ANSERS THE PHONE WHEN YOU PHONE VODASURE. These are a hopeless bunch. Is it not ***** when someone continues to take your money for something that you have cancelled? And the best part is I cannot speak to someone to find out what is going on BECAUSE NO ONE BOTHERS TO ANSWER A PHONE. USELESS, PATHETIC.
I have a HP laptop (HP is also useless in my opinion) that is to be repaired under 'factory warranty'. I took it to my local IT center to fault find why the GPU stopped working. They found that there was a short on the motherboard. Sent all the details to these useless people, now they recon the warranty is void. BUT HOW WHERE THEY SUPPOSED TO DETERMINE WHAT WAS WRONG?
They refuse to stop phoning (actually harassing me) to upgrade one of my lines. The is no option to get the telemarketers to stop phoning me apart from raising a ***** alert against the particular number. How is that an acceptable thing to say to any client? How idiotic and *****ic is that? Tried to upgrade a few weeks ago, monthly installment was R150 odd more than what was agreed upon over the phone so cancelled that. Still get calls today from deliveries to try and deliver the cancelled upgrade. Tried to upgrade to a sim only contract today, cannot do online upgrades. Vodacom does not offer a service, rather a burden. This is the most hopeless and inefficient company that I had to deal with in years. Previously the hassles of upgrading cannot compare to what I have been experiencing the past few weeks.
I had a mishap with a different company that sent me an incorrect product which left me in a pickle, I needed said product to participate in an international competition for which I am leaving in less that 3 days. With very limited time left to find a replacement, the fine people at Futurama sourced the product from suppliers, organized delivery and had it at my door within two days (one to be exact). Bravo!
No response to emails for the last two weeks on an order I had placed early November last year. When I phone the lady only says she will get back to me. Next step will be to visit their store and ask them what is going on.
Yesterday afternoon at around 16:50, Jeanine phoned me and I told her that I do not have time to talk as I am on my way home, she then said that she had been trying to call me the whole day. I told her that this cannot be true as that call was the only call that I received from a 'no number'. Then she insisted that I, who had my cellphone with me the WHOLE DAY, was not telling the truth. I don't think it is very polite, she never asked me if it was a convenient time to talk as well, she just fired away and only stopped when I told her I am on my way home, then gave me attitude when I did not want to talk to her.
