Bad Experience. The moving truck arrived a day before the agreed date for delivery, we were still en route from Johannesburg to Cape Town. They started offloading when we weren't there, just left stuff wherever they wished. We paid extra for carrying up stairs but many of the marked boxes were just left downstairs in the garage, because this was easier for the unpackers. Due to the fact that we only arrived at our home when they had offloaded most of the stuff, we were not able to see if all our boxes arrived. We were greeted with chaos on arrival at our new home. Our extension stepladder was only delivered about a month afterwards and two pot plants with special pots just disappeared, never to be found again. We still don't know if we received all our stuff due to the chaos reigning when we arrived, so the extra insurance that we paid was a total waste of money.
I ordered a TV Online from Makro on 22 August 2024.It was supposed to be delivered on the 24th of August. It didn't arrive. On 28 Aigust I received an email saying my order had been delayed, no update on delivery date. I have called their customer care line 5 times, emailed, they say they'll investigate and get back to me. Makro has never responded to my email or got back to me as promised. Please help, they have my money, I have no TV!
I bought a product, Mastic Gum, from the Compounding Pharmacy. I'm certain that the product contained in their capsules was not the real thing. I have used mastic gum from Solal and in its raw from. The one sold by the compounding pharmacy did not have the same colour, smell, consistency or effect as the real Mastic Gum. I believe that they are passing off a totally different product as the real thing, at a very expensive price. I did contact them many times, went to see them, brought a comparison for them to see, but they were totally disinterested. Beware of buying a product that does not have a reputable brand name from the Compounding Pharmacy of South Africa. A total waste of time and money.
Every single day, when I log onto my Standard Bank internet banking, it says "Not available at this time", every day and number of times a day. I have to keep on logging on in the hope that at some stage I will be able to do my banking. I'm not calling the helpline, just to be put on hold for absolute ages and wasting all my airtime. Standard Bank your service is terrible, it is so bad that I want to change banks. You've closed branches, all your helplines are completely congested and your online banking is off more than it is on.
This product is a total waste of time and money, does not work at all. I think that all major retailers should stop selling this product, it doesn't work, hair remained grey and uncolored even though directions were followed correctly.
On 21 Jan 2016 I went into U Save / Shoprite in Munsieville. There was only one till open and there was a large amount of oil that had been spilt right in front of the till. There were no warnings or cordoned off areas to stop customers from walking directly into the oil. I went up to the till and slipped in the oil and fell. My clothes, bag and other items were covered in oil and I sustained injuries in the fall. The manager came up to me and apologised, I was able to get up. The next day I had a great deal of pain and went to seek medical assistance. I also contacted the regional manager Liz and she said she would look into the matter. Despite meeting with her and leaving messages Shoprite have done nothing about my fall caused by their negligence and are ignoring me.
