On 27 December 2025 Cemair notified passengers at 9h30 that the 12h20 Jnb to Margate flight is delayed and will now depart at 14h00. No further communication from the airline except that the delay got longer and longer while passengers waited at the boarding gate. Eventually the promise was to depart at 16h00, and then (by this time it seems they could not land at Margate any more) the flight got diverted to Durban.. with the pathetic option af a bus to Margate. This bus would arrive in Margate earliest 19h00 after the original arrival time was 14h00. Now weather was being blamed with no reason given for the original delay that allowed tye weather to become the reason for delay. This airline does not value its clients and relies on the fact that they have exclusive access to some routes. I can fly to Durban with a more reliable carrier for 30% of the cost of a Cemair flight to Margate, but I elected to fly to Margate, only to be frustrated with lack of honest information and communication from Cemair. Avoid this airline whenever you have other options and expect the worst client service if you have to use them. Looking through their terms of service, it seems customers have no recourse for re embur*****t since the real reason for delays are not given.
Excellent communication. The driver notified me a few minutes before arriving at my gate, and I was able to track the delivery vehicle.
It seems I have exactly the same issue as the previous report. Whitehouse took my money and is not processing the order, claiming the issue lies with Payfast. I cannot accept that a merchant like Whitehouse cannot resolve payments with their pay platform service provider. I supp**** proof of payment but still no willingness to process my order.
No customer service. Telephone line refers to the chat line which is a BOT with no ability to resolve the issue. Payfast payment went off my account and the merchant cannot see the payment on their side. Not the merchant (Whitehouse) nor Payfast is doing anything to resolve the issue.

Excellent service. Best price. New car. The wait to collect my car at Cape Town airport was a bit long, but I am sure that can be improved. Suggest an online pre-collect clearance? Friendly service and quick handover when returning the car.
How can a company just not respond or resolve customer issues? An unauthorised deduction was made from my account on 12 February 2021. I recieved notices that my service will be suspended because my account was 'in arrears'. I paid an extra month in advance to give time to sort out the issue. Now, mid July, after numerous calls and emails and even a case number CAS-640273-H5N3H7, absolutely no response, no feedback, just a new invoice every month, and still my money is not refunded into my account?!
After being a client of Santam since early 1990s, I today (24 November 2020) got a letter that has possibly been in the mail for a few months...notifying me that my short term insurance has been cancelled due to 'admin changes' on 2 July 2020. The letter was created on 3 July 2020. The letter recommends that I arrange other short term insurance to ensure that my assets are covered. How is this possible that Santam cancels my policy, without any acknowledgement from my side with a mailed letter claiming to give me 30 days written notice, that clearly states that it was created a day after the cancellation date.. AND then the debit order for the montly payment is still deducted every month. I will definitely conctact the ombudsman about this lack of service and integrity.
What happened at supersonic? The whatsapp tech support was great, technicians came out and problems were addressed. Now suddenly I have to hold for tech help.. spend hours switching modem and fibre box on and off.. disconmect everything from the modem just to prove that the speed is not half of what I am paying for. After many hours on the phone the diagnosis was that the fibre bix has a speed limit and will be addressed within 48hours... which is now almost a month ago. And then I still get billed for the full speed. The company had so much promise but is going down the drain now... what happened? I just got a promise again that my second case number will be handled today still...
Placed my order on 1 May... nothing yet. No communication. No offer to refund. Not even a number to call or email address. Totally unacceptable. Do not give yourself out for online orders if you have no intention to honour the orders.. and just take the money.
