In December 2022 I purchased a brand new 8kVA Turner Morris generator from Top Dog Tool Shop, a Turner Morris agent. This unit came with a one year warranty. In June 2023 the generator suddenly would not start. We established a starter motor problem, so removed it and took it to Knysna Armature Winders. Knysna Armature Winders confirmed it to be a factory fault as a jumper weld on the field coil had broken. I requested a replacement stater motor asap as my business was suffering negative publicity due to loadshedding. I was told by Top Dog they had informed Turner Morris who would phone me. After a few days I purchased a replacement starter motor through Knysna Armature Wonders as I had to protect the reputation of my business. Top Dog then informed me that Turner Morris had agreed to replace the starter motor. I in turn asked for a refund as I already had a replacement and the defective one was to be repaired. I did not want 3. Top Dog said they would inform Turner Morris who would contact me. Since then I have been given the runaround by Turner Morris and Top Dog who have not refunded me or replaced the starter motor. To date I have not received a single phone call from Turner Morris.
Try and connect/disconnect your holiday account online and the story is that self service part of their website is not working. Phone a call center and they promise its done. Call again a week later and they tell you the account is in arrears because its been connected for the last 26 days! Just another money grabbing ripoff by a monopoly! And guaranteed there will be no response because they dont care!
Have had a problem for ages. Tried to get our voice-mail sorted out, and now cannot make or receive a call. Call the \call centre"and you are left on hold for ages listening to irritating music. Some of us have work to do and cannot sit waiting on \""hold\"" forever! Telkom"
I recently realised i had gone overdrawn by R1270 while out of the country. I went into FNB to deposit cash to resolve this issue, only to be told my account had been closed and that amount written off as a bad debt! This despite the fact that FNB has my phone number and email address! I deposited the cash anyway. I then sent an email requesting that I not be adversely affected by credit agencies, etc and that I be advised accordingly by return email.<br> <br> The reply I received stated that I should phone Trans Union to find out! This after 31 years of faultless banking with FNB! And to think that I started my working career with FNB 31 years ago - DISGUSTING!<br> <br> I am glad I have chosen to close my FNB acounts permanently!
