Professional and Efficient
I bought a Turner Morris generator a few months ago and after a while I encountered a fault on the generator. I contacted Turner Morris Pretoria branch and was given excellent and professional service. Thank you Chris Oosthuizen, Glen, Mariska van Wyk, Jennifer, Alyain. Thank you very much, I appreciate your quick and friendly service. The generator works perfectly once again. I highly recommend Turner Morris.

Turner Morris - POOR QUALITY EQUIPMENT and WORSE SERVICE
Worst quality equipment and even worse service. Bought a reversible plate compactor. After a month the clutch broke. I had to buy a new clutch from them, which was wrong, and then they could not provide a replacement clutch for their own equipment. Repairs were for my own expense - absolutely ******* quality equipment and pathetic service! They are one of those companies who think they are too big to fail.

Turner Morris generators and Top Dog Tool Shop
In December 2022 I purchased a brand new 8kVA Turner Morris generator from Top Dog Tool Shop, a Turner Morris agent. This unit came with a one year warranty. In June 2023 the generator suddenly would not start. We established a starter motor problem, so removed it and took it to Knysna Armature Winders. Knysna Armature Winders confirmed it to be a factory fault as a jumper weld on the field coil had broken. I requested a replacement stater motor asap as my business was suffering negative publicity due to loadshedding. I was told by Top Dog they had informed Turner Morris who would phone me. After a few days I purchased a replacement starter motor through Knysna Armature Wonders as I had to protect the reputation of my business. Top Dog then informed me that Turner Morris had agreed to replace the starter motor. I in turn asked for a refund as I already had a replacement and the defective one was to be repaired. I did not want 3. Top Dog said they would inform Turner Morris who would contact me. Since then I have been given the runaround by Turner Morris and Top Dog who have not refunded me or replaced the starter motor. To date I have not received a single phone call from Turner Morris.

Never, never, never trust the sales rep. Always,always, always get it in writing from the Workshop Manager.
BEFORE I purchased the164kg, 8kva generator I stated the following to sales rep, Flora Ubisi, at Nelspruit branch. 1) The generator will need periodic services. 2) I personally cannot lift a 164kg generator. 3) Does TM Nelspruit offer a collection service as I can ONLY purchase an 8kva from a company that COLLECTS. Flora assured me that TM does indeed offer a collection service. She FAILED to tell me that only the driver comes with the vehicle to collect the 164kg generator. Try getting a 164kg onto a flatbed with one person. I dare you.

Terrible after sales service!
We purchased a 12KVA “silent” diesel generator several months back. Since day 1 the original generator gave endless issues. The supp**** ATS box didn’t work from day 1. The generator burnt out without proper cause. After weeks of waiting they replaced the entire generator (Except for ATS unit). 2 weeks later the generator wouldn’t start. After logging call they sent tech out without proper tools. We’re still waiting on them to come sort it out. We are currently losing money because our business is reliant on electricity and with all the Loadshedding we cannot run. Their phone number is ALWAYS occupied and the WhatsApp “option” has ZERO response. Don’t even try emailing.

Superb post-sales service from TM Port Shepstone
in less than 24 hours our generator was serviced and new exhaust fitted. every touch point with TM Port Shepstone has been an absolute pleasure, they most certainly set the gold service standard here on the South Coast. Great attitude, efficient and top follow through communication and did not break the ***gy bank. Compliments to Jaco, Zelma, Matthew & Johan. best regards, Anton

I purchased a supposedly silent generator in April of 2023 (SDG8000SE)… There’s nothing silent about this thing, it’s even louder than my neighbour’s normal generator. Worst of all the item has suddenly stopped running. I’ve been calling endlessly without help. Stay away.
