Good day ***x, I am now fed up with Carlton’s pettiness, and this is fuelled by your inefficient management style and the lack of management skills and training of your salon managers. ***x is now again having a hearing for blow dry drama. Not even her ****py work. Carlton staff ***ually harassing others, touching Cayla’s **** in salon? Physical abuse in salon which you have not actioned, and you have time to entertain this nonsense. Being verbally disrespected by her manager in front of other staff. Give me a total invoice for Cayla to quit work at Carlton. She needs to wake up now, the Carlton abuse towards her has to stop. I am not threatening you, I am telling you that I will be publishing this on Hallo Peter, to avoid any future victims of your emotional and mental abuse and poor behaviour. I have officially had enough of Carlton’s inefficiencies and your lack of efficient management, and your constant entertaining salon drama and playing staff up against each other. Wrt the acadamy I emailed you about the constant power outages during college training classes. I am paying the full fees for half the tuition. Up until today none of you have had the decency to respond to a paying customer wrt to you lack of service delivery at the acadamy, yet you send me a reminder to pay tuition fees. You supply students with electrical hair driers, clippers and flat irons that cannot be used during power outages, despite the fact that it is part of your curriculum. Instead of wasting time on drama, step up. When will the acadamy be fully equipped to supply power to full capacity during load shedding? You are correct, I do not have a say in Carlton salon business’s, BUT when it comes to inefficiencies at the academy, I as a paying customer will speak up. When it comes to constantly breaking anybody down in Carlton Salons, especially my child I will intervene. We as parents keep telling our kids, you are capable, you are enough, and then Carlton keeps breaking their spirits, your management style is creating people with huge insecurities about themselves. This damage takes a lifetime to get over if ever. I’m tired of you trying to break my child while I pay for her to be there. For future reference, no decent manager of a company requests staff to come in on a weekend aka day off for disciplinary hearings. This happens during a staff member’s official working hours. Also legally she is entitled to at least a week to prepare for the said hearing, not 4 days. You have this very nasty self empowering habit, of giving notice of disciplinaries, and having hearings on staff days off. If you were knowledgeable in this area, you would know buisiness is done in working hours only. Not just your working hours, you need to respect your staffs private time. They literally have one day off a week for the 2-3k you pay them a MONTH. To all parents wanting to send their children to Carlton hair Academy, the training is good, not as great as you would expect. Trainers under Cindy have no backbone as she makes slaves of her staff with constant hearings, disciplinaries about attitudes, hardly wrt actual hair styling and salon quality and efficiencies etc. As for Carlton as a salon, I strongly suggest that you pay the extra fees and let your child do their apprentice work at an outside salon. Carlton creates bad salon managers. This is how it works, you qualify as a senior stylist and you are now ready to manage a salon and staff without any experience. So the title of manager goes to your head before you even know how to manage people, resulting in broken down souls. To explain, you’ve just qualified with a degree and you walk straight into a management role without experience. Their favourite saying if apprentices speak up is, know your place you are only an apprentice. Apprentices can be ill treated and disrespected in front of everyone in salon by stylists and managers. As for the Acadamy trainers, they have the skills, but again some, specifically one is very rude towards students. They get screamed at in class in front of everyone when they do wrong during training. Mostly, they have no respect for their students aka paying clients. In closing if you are looking for an institution that builds good character and encourages growth of your children this is not the place to put them in. If you are already someone battling with self esteem and self confidence, Carlton as a place of study and work should be completely avoided.
Zelda the wife of the CEO keeps going around telling people that her husband had a 2y affair with my daughter. My reason for posting this here is, that the word in the street is that this is not the first time he has preyed on young girls. I have been insulted as a mother for allowing the said affair and I get indirect messages insulting me and my child “ We often think we know our children, when we don’t.” I did tell her to send proof, which I do not have, and when I was very direct in my feedback to her wrt this she blocked me, after initiating contact. It is not often that you find kind welcoming staff in stores these days. They seem to have long forgotten that is the customer keeps the stores doors open and pay their salaries. Today I visited your Greenstone branch and I was assisted by Nomsa Nomak. My son was standing in the que waiting for me to join the que to pay. Another lady then joined the que behind my son. While I was joining my son in the que, Nomsa came by and told me that the que joins from the other end, I then told her I am aware that it does but I am joining my son in the que. She once again told me that the que starts from the other end and I again told her that I am aware of that and my son has been waiting in the que. she then proceeded to clearly click her tongue at me. I was then her next customer to serve. When I got to the till I told her that I do not appreciate her clicking her tongue at me, she ignored me. I then told her that she should apologise or I will report her, to which she continued to ignore me and she did not apologise. This is not the first time that I have had rude, disrespectful service from Mr Price. It is is in no way acceptable and I will stop supporting your stores if this ever happens again.

The owner introduced herself as Michelle and sent a copy of her ID. She then requested immediate payment to her Capitec Bank which bounced back, that was a first red flag. She then requested a e-wallet payment which I did. She then confirmed that the kitten I ordered will be delivered by 17:00 the following day. The day of the delivery I received a email from the fake courier requesting an upfront refundable payment of R6000 for a temperature controlled pet travel box. I refused to make the payment, she then started haggling for me to pay half of the courier and she would pay the rest. I then found the link https://www.petsplace.co.za/scam-list.php where they are listed a scam pet suppliers. Once I informed her that I now knew that she is a scammer and that I would post on Hello Peter she started with the threatening messages. I know where you live, I will f8ck you up, ill be using your profile pic going forward etc. I am confident that the ID she provided is stolen and not even sure it is a woman.
