I probably did their survey bored pushing time or something cos I couldn't even remember; until I got an sms telling me that the voucher I have won will be forfeited if I do not verify my details that day since it was days after they emailed me. I was very sceptical when I saw the negative reviews but found the email and confirmed my details. They immediately thanked me and asked me to select a voucher I wanted, I picked Takealot and they said I'll have to be patient as logistics will be about a couple of weeks. I was honestly (but pleasantly) surprised when I received an email thanking me for my patience accompanied by a takealot voucher number, which I immediately loaded redeemed. I didn't experience any problems during the whole process.
I bought chairs online and opted to pick up at store. I got a call from the store the same day to inform me that I could go pick up the chairs. When I got to the store I was given receipts to go pick them up at their storage, 4km away. When I got to storage they couldn't find the *****s for the chairs, said they'll get at the store when they knock-off...we agreed to meet at the store after work. There were no *****s at the store either,I got worried because I needed the chairs 3days later latest to set up at a business office. They tried to get from the local builders express but couldn't get the correct size (took them 2days). I decided to call customer service because I had less than a day to get the chairs or replace them, they unfortunately don't handle online orders. I was given an email address, I requested my money back cos I had to get new chairs the next day. Nobody is responding to my email.
Dear Vodacom, Ours have been some long complicated and abusive relationship. I had contracts with you which we frustrated each other with, until I decided I'll be closing all my accounts with you yes. I owed you for a while until we got to 5K in August. I paid you 3.5K after that statement and you decided not to send me the updated statement now in September acknowledging the payment or call like you used to after a payment but rather opted to hand me over to your collections agents, yes...you waited for me to make a major payment and handed me over for a mere 1.5K which is about to be paid off. Just kindly letting you know I have no dealings with your agents and you cannot be possibly expecting me to pay for their fees after this, You will be getting your 1.5K balance paid off soon but that's as far as I go. I will only pay you what I owe you, I won't afford to pay you anything more...we can go to the ombuds this time, maybe my mistake was inaction after taking your verbal apologies and delayed repayments for the multiple times you overcharged me. Since I've already ported my number, I gez this serves a finger from you to say NEVER come back. While we're at it, I think it's time I port my families numbers as well. Thank you.
Since I've been having unresolvable disputes with Vodacom I've decided to close all my accounts as soon as I can afford to, while getting the ombud's assistance for my losses. I was able to put in a request to close down 2 lines for this month end, and guess what? Today was supposed to be the last day but surprise surprise...the lines are already closed, so I lost all the data and airtime I planned to use up today. Like seriously now...these guys are mafias!!
Well, following up on my previous review...I'm still being overcharged and since I refused to pay for the money we didn't agree y lines are blocked! Can we just terminate this whole thing since they can't help me...
My contract got into arrears and got suspended. After settling they reopened my account but started overcharging my data line. Been trying to get help for over a month and nobody can help. The one guy from accounts who came close to understanding me said he'll investigate and get back to me, and it's over a week and am still waiting. I've decided to pay less for what I get charged from now onwards. I'll subtract whatever they've added and also find a way to get back what they already owe me bcos this is soo not on.

People can just steal your money and just get reshuffled "dismissed".And you'll remain stuck, especially if you're BLACK...because you don't know your rights right?

On Thursday 19 Jan 2017 i found myself stuck on the N1S Centurion just past the N14 onramp when traffic was just starting to pick-up, luckily by God's grace we didn't cause an accident. I called AA for roadside assist and was told there is no active policy under my ID number, after being given some attitude by the person who was meant to reassure and keep me calm. I ran out of airtime and got cut-off before i got transferred to whoever was to investigate why no policy was appearing on my ID number and sadly i didn't get a call back. I had to make other arrangements to get help as our main priority was to get out of the highway still safe and get to registrations on time. I wonder what would've happened to my car if i was involved in an accident.

Background:

I received an sms on 05 January 2017 notifying me that my debit was not paid. I couldn't get through to the number i was told to contact at that time and on saturday also (it seems office hours only applies). On Monday i managed to get through and the guy i spoke to said he could see there's an unpaid debit but i can only settle it with accounts and he is general enquiries. He failed putting me through to them as they were busy and then told me they'll call me back after he confirmed my contact details.

The call never came so on the 11th i sent an email to the guy who signed me up as he was previously very helpful when i had a problem with the tracking device, i asked if he could get someone to assist me or if he could resend a debit command but i didn't get a response ( i thought he's still on holidays).

This morning, I received a notification from my bank about a debit to AA, full amount.

So as i did not have a policy 2 days back I'm wondering what the money is for...

After a long struggle of uneccessary stress really, I am grateful for FNB's @RbJacobs and Mr. Paseka Mogorosi. They found me already heartbroken with my disappointing experiences of FNB business crew after multiple fruitless attempts to have our account activated, but they were very patient with me.

I really have no idea what has become of FNB, but the standards have really tumbled...and these individuals were like bright stars amidst the darkest night. I'm just worried if them staying with FNB will not get the incompetency rub off from their colleagues or they burn out because they are doing their part and their colleagues part.

Thanks Paseka and RbJacobs for the peace of mind, after weeks of struggles. You guys are Legengs.

We will be keeping the active accounts, but nfortunately no more new accounts with FNB...your colleagues are nothing like you.

5 starts for you, the 1 is for FNB

So, ending a bad week i had to go renew my car licence and postal box. When i got to the post offce, there was a lot of things that made me feel like my week was just cursed.

But that was before i had an encounter with two beatiful angels...Marine Nake and Mahlo Molebogeng
