These guys were amazing!!! Ordered last night, got today. Prices were reasonable compared to some of the bigger guys, but the service and the way they manage their stock was amazing. Happy to pay a little bit extra if the service is like this. As a comparison, Goodfellows ordered two weeks ago... no word.
I wouldn't use these guys for anything again. Normally I try to avoid them since their wine prices are outrageous. I ordered some whisky from them on 30 May. Needless to say, no feedback, online telephone number doesn't work, stores don't answer their phones. If you didn't have stock/capacity, I would've appreciated a warning pre-purchase. Needless to say, I wouldn't buy whisky from a store without stock. Cash in their bank account, no option to cancel the order.
<p>The guys are super happy to take your debit orders each month, but the service just stops working and customer service is nowhere to be found. </p> <p> </p> <p>Like for instance this is a long weekend and the service just hasn't worked all weekend.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am sure if the Sunnighill community starts a class action against these guys or takes them to the competition commision there would be a very good chance to succeed.</p>
<p>My wife and I have been discovery vitality members since January 2012. We have been using our polar watches to upload exercise information ever since. </p> <p> </p> <p>For some reason, Discovery ****ed one of our polar feeds (which had been working since 2012). When they reactivated it, they refused to acknowledge any of the exercises prior to the reactivation date (approximately January to May).</p> <p> </p> <p>This has taken nearly a month and it feels like I have done more about getting this fixed then what they have.</p> <p>Staff who failed to assist, dates and mail references:</p> <p>- Kamogelo Sandiswe Sukwana (1-Jun-2016 # ********** 084#)</p> <p>- Thamsaqa Adooms (2-Jun-2016 # ********** 884#)</p> <p>- Pravika Maharaj (8-Jun-2016 # ********** 084#)</p> <p> </p> <p>Surely, they are the only ones who can disable a polar feed and I can’t be held responsible for their mistakes.</p> <p>I am also a discovery Classic Priority medical aid member and pay them a fortune every month, so this is quite disappointing.</p>
<p>Hi, my polar feed has stopped working for some reason. I tried to contact the help desk, but they were less of a help than the website even.</p> <p> </p> <p>Disappointing and frustrating.</p>
In November we moved house from Morningside to Sunninghill. We cancelled our old Telkom line and transferred the previous homeowners' line to ourselves.<br> <br> Telkom then decided to not only cancel our line, but also hand our telephone number to someone else (even though we are paying them close to R600 a month). This also prevents us from using our Mweb internet package since they use Telkom's lines (another R300 a month). I would happily stop paying Telkom, but this will affect my credit record since they are clearly not competent enough to get anything right.<br> <br> I've tried phoning the Telkom customer service line, but it is literally impossible to get through if you are an existing customer. The only way one can possibly get through is if you pretend you are a new customer (i.e. someone from who they are not stealing money already).<br> <br> Telkom get your act together, start providing a service or stop stealing my money and affecting my credit record.<br> <br> (I have mails supporting all of the above)
