Misled into Unlimited LTE – Telkom Consultant Ignored My Follow-Ups
City of Joburg ignored my billing dispute, follow-ups, and supporting documents.
Telkom has failed to resolve my complaint about missing data allocations, rapid depletion, and unclear contract terms. I submitted formal evidence and escalated to ICASA, yet Telkom continues to ignore follow-ups. Their customer service is evasive and unhelpful. This is unacceptable and shows a lack of accountability.
I have been experiencing network issues with Telkom since December 2024, despite paying my monthly contract fee of R389.00. I have reported the problem multiple times through various channels, but no meaningful assistance has been provided. This has severely affected my ability to use the service I’m paying for. I’ve tried escalating the issue through your customer care channels, but I’m still waiting for a resolution. I feel let down as a loyal customer and hope Telkom can prioritize fixing this problem. I am considering further escalation through regulatory bodies if no action is taken soon.
I lodge the complaint concerning the item that they said I bought from Capetona whereas I am in Pretoria. I never went to Capetown. I last went to Capetown in 2012. So they haven't called me to explain how and who he bought using my card? I believe it is the Tymebank consultant who did that. Why are they not coming back to me. This makes me start doubting this bank
This is how you treat your customers. I have been requesting assistance with my query since early August. I have reported buying some items in Capetown, whereas I am in Gauteng. I did not buy anything in Capetown. They told me I must cancel my bank card and get a new one. Of which I did and they charged me for that. They said they will investigate. When I call the contact center for follow-up, the call center transfers me to the other department but I hold until it drops.
Somebody has borrowed 1800 from you using my details and I have never borrowed money not even in a single day. Now you will deduct 337 monthly for six months and I never did such a thing. I then phoned Easypay for assistance, but the guy I was talking to just left me with a voice machine
I have lodged a complaint regarding Vodacom for overcharging me for something we did not agree with. Yet yesterday I got a reply from them stating that a consultant will make contact with me in due course to assist with my query. But up to now, no one consulted me. Now how can I trust Vodacom? Should my contract come to an end I will never upgrade instead I will cancel them all. I have about 4 contracts with Vodacom and surely I will not do any contract with them again. I had to migrate my contract due to their misbehavior with me. And on that migration, I've been charged 767.00. I don't know why such a huge amount of money. Other networks do not have a migration fee since they understand that customers have a right to migrate. Vodacom does not treat me well
They overcharged me, stating that it was a price plan increase that was caused by inflation. They never told me that when I took a contract, now every much I will be paying 63.00 extra. They could have told me that there might be an increase on my account so that I could decide whether I carry on with the subscription or not. I will never encourage my friends and family to take a contract at Vodacom. They will blame me if they experience some problems like me now. So to avoid that it is better not to encourage my friends and family so that they will not regret
A ***** company thus eating people's money. They have deducted 99.00 from my account stating that I have subscribed witch them. They are getting reach by robbing us. Telkom is a scheme with this company. My heart is broken into pieces
