Bad Experience with Samsung
I would like to share my recent experience with Samsung South Africa to raise awareness for other consumers. In 2014, I purchased a high-end Samsung TV (Model UA55HU8500AT) from their Eastgate store for approximately R35,000 — a significant investment at the time, and one I expected to last for many years. After 12 years of use, the TV unfortunately stopped working. I took it to a certified Samsung service centre, where I was informed that the main board had failed and is no longer available, making repair impossible. I escalated the matter with Samsung South Africa, hoping for a solution or meaningful support. Unfortunately, I was advised that nothing further could be done, and the only offer extended was a 10% discount on a new TV. While I understand that products have a lifecycle, I find it disappointing that a premium product cannot be supported due to unavailable parts, and that there are no viable repair options offered. As a long-standing Samsung customer, this experience has been frustrating and has impacted my confidence in the brand going forward. I hope this feedback encourages better support solutions for customers who invest in high-end products. You have definitely lost a client that used to love your products, but anyway, these Global companies couldn't give a **** about the consumers, their loss, someone's else's gain.

Another disappointing experience, booked an Emergency Dental appointment at Wilgeheuwel for Sunday the 1st of January, it showed two slots with Dr. Saul Sacks, my son got there, and the doors were closed. Pathetic.........

Great Pet Insurance
I had a call with Jaen Boshoff from Dotsure, she explained everything in detail, what is included in the different Pet Insurance option and what is excluded, very professional and I have decided to go with them. I would recommend DotSure to anyone, that simple.
