I feel that I have been duped, by a company that gets the first results in a Google search for particular remotes I need. You can not register on the site, so only have the confirmation e-mail that I paid for the order, which was a week ago. No response to contacting them through the site, nor by the e-mail address supp****. The listed number does not exist, and its the only number listed online. Either very poor communication skills, or the place no longer exists and the money for orders goes who knows where. Suppose lesson learnt, make contact with a company before placing any order, to make sure you have a clear line of communication.
The ICU staff were on point, making sure my mom survived her ordeal. However.... Once she was moved to "high care" nursing staff actively watched her cling on to life, with absolutely no motivation to even offer her a sip of water, not caring that her oxygen fell below 60% SpO2 on their watch, just tending to patients that could interact back with them. It is a true miracle by the Grace of God that she made a recovery to the point we could get her discharged so we can give her proper care at home to rebuild her strength. To anyone with a loved one there, please, I beg you, try get them moved over to a real hospital!
Received a brand new sealed phone, at a lower price than they are going second hand currently. Kept in contact during the whole process, and I could pock it up myself from the owner.
I have been having an ongoing issue with Vodacom for the past 12+ months. I had lost my job in November 2016, due to Medical Incapacity. This meant I could no longer cope with all my piling up bills, which my Mom tried her best to help me with. After a few months my Vodacom account got suspended, and we went to the Vodacom sop in Menlyn, Pretoria. Here I was given a huge amount to be settled, being told by the representative after this I would not have to pay anything again till my account ran its course, and it could be cancelled. A month or two later, after speaking to client care, I was told this was just money owed on the account, and many thousands more would be required to be paid to cancel them. Explaining that I'm unwell, without any form of income, was simply met by, pay or we set the attorneys on you. Over the following months I tried my best to pay off the account with UIF and money borrowed to me, but somehow I always ended up having to buy myself out of a suspended line, a line that was crucial when I started getting healthier again, and could look for work. So now, in March 2018, I finally found work again, a full time paying job. On Saturday 10 March 2018 I went to the Vodacom shop in Northgate, to pay R2000 into my account, as per an arrangement made earlier that week, to pay off my arrears, and once that is done, make an arrangement to cancel all three my Vodacom lines (Cellphone, Data and Tablet) Now only to find, a few days later, when I phone out, I get an automated message saying my line is suspended, and I must phone my service provider. Phoned Vodacom on 15 March , and was told I can only have my line un-suspended once the total arrears amount is paid up. After considering this is actually a breach of agreement from Vodacom's side, I phoned the Accounts department again on 16 March. This time, I had to wait quite a while on the line, while the agent discussed this with her supervisor. She finally came back, profusely apologizing, and told me the matter will be escalated, my line unlocked within 28 hours, as the terms of the agreement does not state my line should be locked while I pay off the arrears. Well, on Monday morning 19 March, my line was still locked. I called the accounts department again, and they had nothing on the system indicating my line was to be unlocked? I asked to speak to his supervisor directly.... Big mistake. This arrogant "gentleman" named Zolile was quite to the point. When I told him what had led to this call, he simply said I must pay the full amount for it to be unlocked. I told him that I need my phone, to be able to make calls, in my new job. Only receiving calls helps me nothing, when out on site. To this, he replied, if I need to make calls, I can go buy a prepaid sim card from one of the providers out there. (You can contact me for my full details, so you can go listen to the recordings you make of calls, and hear for yourself what he aid, Verbatim) Im sorry, but this is unprofessional to the most extreme, from your side. I'm sorry I got sick, I'm sorry I lost my job, and really sorry this inconvenienced you in making money out of me. But, tomorrow I will go settle this arrears amount, and I will cancel all my lines, and seek out a new service provider, and service provider, other than Vodacom. You have zero compassion for unforeseen life events, and do your upmost best to make a bad situation in life exponentially worse. I await your reply to this matter, before I go post this on my Wall, asking my friends to share is as they see fit. Regards. J.P. Prinsloo
