Hyundai Customer Care could not resolve the below issue with Hyundai Plumstead: Take photos / videos of your vehicle's issues before you hand over the keys to these guys!! My right wing mirror was faulty (really just a cosmetic issue that I caused in July this year) which I asked them to look at to know if there is a mechanism they can replace or if the entire wing mirror should be replaced. They had my van for a whole week replacing the water pump (which was a warranty issue with my Hyundai Staria 2022!) and in that entire week they did not notice when they put the wing mirror back together it was FAR, FAR WORSE than when I dropped it with them a week before completely extending too far and leaving me with no choice but to replace the wing mirror! They are now all throwing their hands up - the principal, Junaid, the manager, Jacques, the foreman, Jaen, including Zinhle at Hyundai Customer Care and saying that because it was broken before it is not their fault that it is now worse and I need to replace it now altogether and I must go to the Ombudsman. Just like that. Not only did I lose R10,000 in income as I use my Staria for work, and Uber costs, while we were waiting for the water pump to be delivered and fitted, not to mention the stress of having to find another van at short notice so I could continue with my job, they now also are expecting me to replace the wing mirror which will cost around R17,000!!! I would be R27,000 out of pocket due to this mess!! THEY'RE MAD!!! DO NOT USE THIS BRANCH AND THERE IS NO CARE AT HYUNDAI CUSTOMER CARE

I have been a Vodacom customer for 10 yrs + and have been working overseas for years. This time I get back to discover my number which I’ve had for 10 yrs + has been DELETED WITHOUT MY CONSENT! How can you just delete a customer’s number without sending them an email to check if they no longer need the number before you delete it!? I have spoken to a lady in a store who phoned customer service who said the number cannot be retrieved. The lady in the store logged a call back with the IT dept to see if they can reconnect it somehow…. This is crazy! As a freelancer, your cell number is your business…. In today’s age your cell number is connected to EVERYTHING! If it turns out my number cannot be brought back online, I will NEVER have another contract with Vodacom again and I will warn all my friend, family and colleagues. A very unhappy customer.
Do not sign a contract with these guys!! They won’t cancel it or send you proof that it was done! You’ll speak to several people via Online Chat or WhatsApp (which are the only ways of getting hold of anyone), asking them all to cancel but then they ghost you!? So you have no proof of whether it was done or not!? I have been a loyal customer for 5 years, and this is how they treat you! Customer service is SERIOUSLY lacking!! Can’t wait to get rid of them……. Still don’t know if my contract was cancelled even though I spoke to someone from the complaints department yesterday. Bizarre way of running a business! Well done.
Darren came to chop out both my shower floors as there was a waterproofing issue under the tiles that needed fixing. He managed to crack 1 big tile which he didn’t come to tell me about, I had to find it myself. When I asked what had happened he said “don’t worry, my tiling guy said he can fix it” Once he left and I already paid him 50%, he asked for the rest of the payment. When I asked him to amend the quote as he only worked for 1.5 days and only bill me for 2 days as opposed to 4 for each shower. He started arguing with me and I said, but you cracked a tile? So he said he’ll give me 10% discount. Only the day after when I started cleaning my shower floor did I notice he had actually cracked another tile AND chipped the tile edging! He never apologised for anything and just left the mess for his waterproofing / tiling guy to sort out… I am now in the position where I must use 3 of my old tiles - all different shade to the cracked ones - for the tiler to use to replace what is broken. Darren shows awfully poor workmanship by leaving you with more problems than solutions and over charges!!
BEWARE!!! Imagine everything that you fear could go wrong with your kitchen design… and multiply it! Do not trust this man with your money. He will waste your hard earned money and your valuable time! The contractors he works with are as incompetent as he is! He never admits fault, has an excuse for everything! He prides himself in that he’s done 10,000 jobs (impossible, and even if he had, why make so many mistakes and why does he not have competent contractors to work with?). He also likes to pride himself in how many mistakes he’s had to fix in other people’s homes after other contractors poor work. I have had to fork out thousands of Rands to fix HIS mistakes now and a job he said would take 2 weeks would probably have been finished to spec by 2022 if I allowed him to continue to waste my valuable time and money!! He will scam you out of 90% of your money before any work has even started! His quote says “75% deposit”, “15% on delivery” (which I thought meant delivery on the job, it’s not! It’s delivery of the wood! Lying in pieces on your garage floor before any work has started!) That makes it 90% before any work has started! All I owe him now, unfortunately, is a mere 10% which doesn’t even cover the cost of what it has cost me to get my own carpenter, plumber and tilers in to either correct or finish his job! Now he’s threatening to sue ME. What a joke! Do NOT hire this man. I have screenshots of every conversation we had including photos as proof, not to mention all the invoices and receipts for the extra work and materials I had to buy…… ! Don’t make the same unfortunate mistake I made. This is a warning. Do not take it lightly. His name is Clint van Nelson should he change his company name.
