Sharon Uppink is probably the worst travel agent in the world. She cheated my cousin and I for our bookings and deposit.
I had a meeting with Anthony, a regional manager from Mr D. When the issue of VAT came up, it occured to me that Mr D, which is owned by takealot, is FRAUDULANTLY charging VAT on top of clients inclusive of VAT sales prices. When I challenged this practise, Anthony read out a statement from Mr D , which says: we consider the inclusive sales price as "JUST A NUMBER", and we add our VAT on that. How can SARS allow such blatant fraud to occur.
I attempted to contact Mr Reid regarding the pathetic service I received from a Mr D regional manager. The white female receptionist refused to allow me to speak to Mr Reid or any other management staff. She blatantly refused for me to speak to her manager saying he was not available. She then refused to give me her details. Mr Reid, are you the president of this country , that you are so high and mighty that customers cannot get to speak to you. What a pathetic excuse of a company.
<p>Earlier this month I requested an Uber from Monte Casino. The vehicle never pitched and I eventually took a normal taxi back home. To my surprise I received a bill of R380 for that trip. However it seems that somebody took that Uber to Diepsloot, and I got stuck with the bill. I contacted Uber via their support email and was contacted by a person called Jamilee. She requested proof of my transaction charge, which I supplied, and that was the end. Several emails were sent to Uber Support with no response. **** Uber is this how you treat your customers, siiiiis!</p>
<p>A few weeks ago I obtained a quote for new Suzuki Celerio. I then went into thE dealership to clarify and agree on the terms of the deal. I met the sales person and his superior. However a few days later the finance lady called saying they cannot fulfill the quote. Thye gave no reasons. I had to go back to the dealer where I met an arrogant sales manager Deon who said that I could leave if I didnt like his decision, after I threatened to go to th RMI. I then asked to see the DP who refused to fulfil the original quote also not offering any reasons. I even called the owner who didnt want to help. I eventually had to buy the car from KZN. So to anybody wanting to buy a car from Centurion Select, please think twice and have a lawyer handy.</p>
