I paid tax on a Temu parcel SEVEN DAYS ago... they still have not updated their system or Temu's system... and the parcel has not been delivered. Anyone else with this problem??
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS S**T COMPANY. Their products are sooo terrible. I ordered a D cup bra... waited a LONG time for it. When I redeived it the cup is about a B. I contacted them for a refund.. but lo and behold... they REFUSE to offer any refunds.. I had about 10 emails back and forth with them...They claim that it is ******* AND UNHYGENIC to re-sell a bra that I tried on ONCE. SO I guess that Woolworths, Truworths, Edgars and all those companies where the bras are on display for anyone to try on is operating *******LY... never dealt with such a **** company. After all these back-and -forth emails, I was now told that I had 7 days to return the bra. R800 LESSON LEARNED... DO NOT BUY THIS ****...
I rented a granny flat through Proprent CC - Agent Lorraine Booysen. I agreed to let the tenant move in earlier without any additional payment. He moved in with a dog - contract prohibits dogs. Complained - dog removed. About a month later he had a cat. Had to complain 3 times before the agent went to the trouble of addressing this with the tenant. I then asked them if I can terminate the contract. It was confirmed that I as the landlord cannot terminate the contract unless the tenant is in breach and since he got rid of the cat he is no longer in breach of contract. Contract date 01-02-2021 to 31-01-2022. On 7 Dec I was informed that the tenant is moving out End Dec 2021. The contract states that a penalty is payable if the tenant moves our earlier and the notice period is 2 months. When I pointed this out Lorraine said the tenant can move whenever he wants with 21 days notice. The Rentral Tribunal said it is 30 days. Why have a contract stating totally different info? He was allowed to leave the flat filthy and the garden dead... NOTHING was done about it. He kept the keys until 31-12-2021, even though he already moved on 21-12-2021. Lorraine decided to go on leave and confirmed she is back on 06-01-2022. Now I find out she is not and I am left with a filthy place and dead garden and damages to the inside... DO NOT APPOINT PROPRENT CC if you're a landlord.... PLEASE take your business elsewhere.
I ordered an SPS-1200 unit online in March. No-one form this company bothered to let me know it is out of stock. Only when I started following up they confirmed they are out of stock. I was promised stock will arrive in May. I had to follow up again. I was then told they are no longer able to obtain this unit - Sue Jorge confirmed they do not have demo models and NO UNIT ANYWHERE in their warehouses. They offered me another product - AND CONFIRMED THE SPECS IS BETTER - but cannot supply the flyer for this unit as it is for internal use only. The item arrive - ONLY IN JULY!!! Upon receipt I discovered it is NOT a better unit. They do have an option - slightly better than the SPS - but I need to pay additional R1000 - I think with the time passed and all the lies on their part - they should meet me halfway and I offered to pay R500. Chris - the CEO - LO AND BEHOLD all of a sudden FOUND A SPS UNIT!! Sitting in a glass cage somewhere... DO TRUST THESE PEOPLE... DO NOT BUY FROM SINETECH!!!
I have been waiting NINETEEN DAYS for a reply on a fraudulent transaction on my credit card. They just do not bother to respond - when you phone their FRAUD department transfer your call to another department as apparently they do not deal with fraudulent transactions.... JUST THAT is enough to scare the hell out of anyone!! I am now officially giving them notice that I will no longer be paying any outstanding amount on my credit card - NO SERVICE - NO PAY!!! I see there are 100's of complaints about Discovery Bank - WHY ARE THEY STILL IN BUSINESS???
I have requested settlement figures from Discovery Bank to settle and account more than a week ago - they ignore any follow up e-mails - the only communication they do send is that they received your mail. I have had THREE fraudulent transactions against my credit card since Discovery Bank took the account over from FNB. I have not even received the card yet - and THREE fraudulent transactions! I HAVE NEVER DEALT WITH SUCH INCOMPETENCE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!! Stay away from Discovery Bank!
I took out a Funeral policy with Old Mutual - they supplied totally incorrect information and I ended up reporting them to the Financial Services Onbudsman - who ruled in my favour. I lodged a claim against this policy 4 DAYS AGO! They are quick to advertise that they settle claims within 48 Hours - 4 DAYS LATER - NO REACTION!!! I guess they only respond to the Onbudsman - which will be my next call. BE CAREFUL - USE ANYONE BUT OLD MUTUAL
This is the WORST institution I have ever dealt with. They took over my Discovery Credit Card from FNB. They increased the interest rate by 5%!! Then within a day TWO fraudulent transactions on this account. I have lodged the papers and complaint a week ago - NO REPLY! I informed them to cancel the account - 4 days ago - NO REPLY. I have NEVER had service this bad. STAY AWAY FROM DISCOVERY BANK
